Pokemon Discussion - Heart Gold & Soul Silver

While I do agree, that would be a lot to ask. Being able to have every pokemon follow you was a huge break through in itself, if you ask me.

 

yeah i heard of this from a friend i think its pretty awesome seeing that in my opinion gold and silver and crystal >.> were the best pokemon games ive played XDDDDD

 

I'm curious about the fact that when you transfer Arceus into Gold and Silver, that there's an event with Cynthia, Arceus, and the Unown. Why is Cynthia in Johto and what really is the story behind the Unown and the creation of the Pokemon world? It's never been fully explained, so I'm hoping it is in this game.

UPDATE: Eusine returns from Crystal and will have a similar role in the HEart Gold and Soul Silver.
The level 1 Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina know Metal Burst, Hydro Pump, and Shadow Sneak respectively. You gain them (but you can only choose one) from transfering Arceus into HG and SS, where there will be the scene stated above.
There are 9 new touch screen-based mini-games
Lugia and Ho-Oh start at Lv. 45
Red Gyarados is back and at level 30

 

Well I'm happy to hear that Red Gyarados is back.
Does anyone know if the legendary dogs [[though they look like cats to me]] will be available? You know, Entei, Suicuine, and Raiku?

 

The Legendary Cats probably are going to be in the game, they were in the first ones weren't they?​

idk suicune looks more like a dog than a cat to me...

anyway hope they don't mess this remake up like last time...

some more updates on HG and SS:
The Red Gyarados stays at the lake of rage and the surfing pokemon icon is the one from DPPt.
Latios, Latias, and Mewtwo are in the game.
The Legendary dogs (or cats, or beasts) are at lvl 40.
The Pokegear is back with the phone, map, radio, and now the itemfinder.
Possibility of being able to register 2 key items.

 

Guys, I'm pretty much sure they are legendary dogs. I've played the games since the day they were in stores so I think I'd know that. o.o

Suicune and Entei definitely look like Dogs to me, anyway. Raikou is the odd man out. lol

Also, hell yes to Red Gyarados. Does anyone know if Lance is back as the E4 champ?

 

No word yet, but I wouldn't doubt it, especially since he does play an important role in the plot involving Team Rocket and the Red Gyarados.

 

Eusine chases Suicune around the map, if he returns then of course the dogs are back.

 

I wouldn't think they would change the Elite 4 people themselves. Maybe make it challenging unlike G/S/C, but I wouldn't think Nintendo would switch out Lance.

 

I'm sure they'll keep the old members of the elite four at their original levels, then do what they did in DPP and LG/FR where they up the levels and stats after doing the extra stuff. Which in this case, I'd presume is Kanto and Mt. Silver.

 

Why would they take out Lance? He's the former champ? There's no one else.

 

Blue was the former champ. Lance was the final member of the Elite 4 in R/B/Y and in G/S/C he's champ.

 

Oh right of course, I forgot we were talking about Gen. II. (Red and Blue on the mind.)

Either way, there is absolutely no reason to replace Lance. x_x

 

((I have heard only a little about the two... Geez Silver / Gold were my favorite ver. in poke'mon! ^^ So far I have heard you can have a poke'mon follow you like in Poke'mon Yellow! (if anyone had played that)... When I was just like 6 years old that was all I did heh... Was play either poke'mon on game boy or poke'mon trading card game.))

 

Yeah the Pokemon follow you. Pidgey looks lolicious when he/she follows you.

Been playing the ROM and so far it's awesome.

 

When you mean by Blue you mean Ash because Gary is the 8th gym leader in Kanto
