Damn. And I NEED Suicune on my team. Otherwise it's not the same D':

But then I will run around like an idiot and try and catch it. Maybe I'll try doing what I did in Firered. I cornered it by the grass gym town place and then used repels so all I could find was it. And I didn't have it on my Dex. And I found it in literally two minutes.

And I should shut up now.

 

At least it'll be easier now that you don't need the Dex to find it.

 

Caught him with a dusk ball. Took me 4 tosses. lol

 

Well the Lake Trio weren't difficult to catch...I still used dusk balls on them..I just hope dusk balls exist in these 2 games...if not. I will have to try harder and use them ultra balls...

 

Finally! I was wondering if they were ever going to remake that installment of the series. Im deffenitly going to get both. This just made my morning! =D

 

I never even thought about getting both.
I think I'll get Silver. Since I like Lugia an all...

But I've been wondering.
Are they gonna release a new Crystal after these 2?

 

Why would they? They didn't with FR and LG. I really see no reason to release a Crystal remake. :|

 

Well ya never know. Things happen. Although I would love to see a remake of Pokemon Yellow..

 

Well, sure, it would be cool. But, it just doesn't seem necessary.

I'd much rather have a Crystal remake instead of a Yellow remake though.
Crystal has been my my favorite up until Platinum came out. -And Yellow didn't really add much in my opinion. :\

 

Yeah I know..but Yellow makes me think of the anime since the main dude walks around with a Pikachu..and that Pikachu was overpowered like hell..

 

The highlight of that game was Jessie, James, and the ability to get all the starters.
Not much more was added to it.

But what was Crystal all about again? I forgot.

 

It was about Crystals.

 

You are going through the game, and encountering Suicune and this man, who I believe to be named Eugene.

Long story short, you battle Eugene a few times, to see who's worthy of facing Suicune, ad then you catch the puppy.

It was rather amazing in my opinion.

 

What about the other 2 dogs?

Articuno and Suicune are the best out of the first 2 generations..

 

Ramdom encounters after catching Suicune IIRC.

All of the legendaries were present in this game just like G and S.

It also had the very first battle tower. :]

 

Oh, sometimes the whole random encounter thing in every game gets on my nerves. It gets complicated if you don't have a radar like you use in D/P/P

 

Not after you find them at least once,once you do,just check their locations on the Pokédex and it will show where they currently are.
But still,i find it easier to use repel,go into some place where you change routes and both have grass thingies where you can find pokemons,and walking on the grass with a poke one level lower than the legendary you're looking for as the first pokemon on the team,and change routes once you've done at least 20 steps on the route grass and do this until you find one of them.
That's what i did with Latias,Latios,the dogs in FR/LG,the birds and Mesprit.

 

This is going to bring back so many amazing childhood memories.

In commemoration of this announcement I am going to replay Diamond version as I never picked up Platinum. It just didn't seem worth the money.
