Well ya never know. But I'm making an estimate. 9.5/10 there will be only 1 masterball. If there's 2. Then why'd I be darned.

 

I also hope they give our character some lines in HG and SS because the whole "silent hero" thing is over used and boring.

 

Oh yeah. The hero does need some lines. I mean. In all the games you always answer yes or no to everything. What the heck? I would like to see some subs for the main dude. And Gamefreak give him some good ones. Like before Gym battles will work. And the Elite 4 as well he can have some lines.

 

He could make some nice comebacks...but if you could type in some more like make up your own. You could heat on them like there's no tomorrow.

But the touch screen? I wonder if there will be some kind of Poketch type thing like D/P/P...

poketch uses apps to do diffrent random things its on the touch screen and it has such apps as a calculator a watch ,a app that shows you how much your party likes you, and so on and so forth

It's probably going to be the PokeGear. Also, the menu will appear on the bottom screen this time.

 

menu on the bottom screen...to me that sounds like the best use of that space...like have the menu down there at all times...so you dont have to open it...and then depeneding on what you click on say.....options you would have the options for the game on the botoom screen as well....makess the touch screen much more functional ...just havingt the poketch was kinda just like "hey what are we gonna do with the touch screen outside of battles" "i dont know just throw a fun app oriented thing down there"

 

Yeah I like that idea too...a menu on the bottom makes things easier..like going into your bag and such without leaving the main screen.

 

What? No, why would they put two materballs? That's kind of the point of the dogs. They're a challenge to catch.

More than one masterball would just make the game too easy. :\

And if ya wanna catch Lugia or Ho-oh and you want a challenge..Don't use the materball.I'd use it for another Legendary. But it's you guy's choice on what pokemon to use it on.

 

I concur. If this is going to be a direct remake, they should only put in a single masterball.

However, I'm still interested in the new things about the game. Like what they might have changed. I can't wait to see what Gamefreak's done this time.

 

That was my plan, of course that's what I did in the originals.
I hope they're all in one game though. I don't want to have to deal with the FireRed approach again (Starter = the dog you get).

But, did anyone actually succeed in catching Giratina in an Ultraball on Platinum?
I used like 40 Ultraballs and he killed himself with struggle. <_<
My point in saying this is, if there's no chance of catching Lugia or Ho-oh without a masterball, then catching the dogs is gunna be a pain in the ass.

 

I caught Giratina with a Pokeball...it took me 30 minutes...

 

Well, I tried once, then said F*** this. XP

 

I actually caught Giratina with a Dusk Ball. It was more effective, to say the least.

I'm thinking the dogs will have the same catch rate as the Lake Trio.
