Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

I doubt it! They would have to be complete idiots to end something so successful.

 

Successful? Many of their old fans are now 17-22! So many people dont like it. But I think maybe they're running out of ideas I mean they already have like 500 pokemon what more can we want!

 

Pokemon is good, but there's so many now. It's getting a little annoying.

 

I've lost count already. I'm not going to even bother trying to 'catch them all'' since now it's getting too troublesome.

 

I might get it all i know is i have the 1st pokemon game on DS already

That's not the first one. Mystery Dungeon is the first one. I should know....when I picked that game up, they asked me If I wanted to reserve Ranger.

 

Well...actually, the first spin-off Pokemon game for DS was Dash and then Troezui . The first "true" Pokemon games for DS are Diamond and Pearl.

I chose Piplup, can someone tell me what Pokemon to catch in the beginning of the game?

 

YAY!!! D/P!!!! :D I just got pearl today. PIPLUP!!!! XD Turns out that my friend ukali_rules has it too. SHe was able to get a Polkia off this one guy for a normal pokemon XD XD XD XD. I think that was hilarious when she told me. She's at the Elite 4 right now 0.o she's only been playing for about 3-4 days max. I just started, it's real fun! :D Turns out when you try to find Yuxie, it looks like the tv is staring at you. Oh, and pokemon movie 10 is a battle against Polkia, Dialga, and Giatana... or the dark guy. I forget :P. They put the japanese trailer up on youtube.com

There are 493 total.

My Piplup got his Hydro Pump, so I leveled it up two more times to get it to an Empoleon. My Starly is Lv. 36, it's about to learn Brave Bird, so after that I'll level it into a Staraptor.

Also, I have the first four badges. What city do I go to now?

 

I think Surf is better than Hydro Pump, Storrini, since it has more PP.

I can't get it right now. Too many exams and I need to concentrate.

 

I picked up a DS just t oget in on this game. I was never too hardcore into the Pokemon scene, usually just emulated the previous titles, but I was pretty excited about this one. Plus, my buddy has a DS, so we can battle and trade, and all that.

I've got a question, though, and not even GameFAQs has provided a satisfactory answer. Exactly how large is the Pokedex in this game? I'm fairly certain that not all ~500 little doods can be caught in the wild, but how many can? The main reason I ask is because heaps of my old favourite guys haven't surfaced anywhere yet (Sandshrew :<). I've got six of the badges and I haven't even got 100 Pokemon registered in my dex. I doubt there's going to be a 400-strong population boom between the sixth and eighth badges.

So yeah, how robust is the Pokedex in this game?
