Pokemon: Cobalt

"Staravia,use your wings and blow it back!"Cade commanded."Then use Aerial Ace!"

Staravia's forms returned to him and he began blowing the Sleep Powder at Oddish,who had fallen asleep.Then it rushed in and used Aerial Ace.

 

The Oddish fainted, alongside it's tranier, due to the Aerial Ace.

"Don't ya think that was a little overkiil?" Jason asked stepping through the grass towards the battle.

 

"Good job Staravia!"Cade said as Staravia landed beside him.

"Pika Pi!"Pikachu agreed.

Cade returned Staravia to his pokeball and looked at Jason."Huh?..No..I used the powder against him..and I only attacked him once..not overkill,strategy..''

 

"Yeah, but the tranier had already passed out himself from the Oddish's Sleep Powder. His Pokemon was too worried about his master to fight back." Jason explained.

 

"Just because he fell asleep doesnt mean I cant finish the battle though..''Cade said,then looked around for the Gym Leader.

 

"Welcome Young Traniers!" a fit man wearing a survival outfit fought his way through the grass with ease. "I'm the Leader of 'dis here Gym. Which of you Traniers wanna go first?" He spoke, but then he noticed Jason, "Nephew!".

"S'up Uncle D?" Jason replied.

Long time no see! I've just been runnin' the Gym as usual. So... Which of you greenhorns wants to go first?"

"Well... I got stuff to do so this guy can go first," Jason slaps Cade on the back, "Good luck buddy!". Jason leaves through the doors he came through.

"If you'll follow me..." Uncle D motions for Cade to follow him to a raised platform in the center of the Gym.

 

((OOC:: muahaha i guess you firgured me out... but, i also wanted to match the age (or get a little closer) to the otheres... :P ))

Rei saw the boy from the battle. She walked up to him, her torchic happily following. "Hi!" she said to him. "I'm Rei, whats yours name?"

 

Cade follows him,growing excited.He took out Growlithe's pokeball and tossed it as he walked.

 

((OOC: Yes, I iz smrt like that. Lol...))

"Oh! Hey..." Jason said, his face blushing from seeing the girl again. "My name's Jason.". He notices her chick Pokemon again, "You wouldn' happen to be a tranier would you?".

Meanwhile in the gym...

Uncle D, the Gym Leader, stood on one sie of the platform and told Cade to stand on the other end. "Go, Grovyle!" He said, unleashing the grass-type lizard pokemon from it's ball.



VS.

Rei smiled. "I am! You did great in that battle, you want to battle me?" she said, putting her Torchic on her shoulder.

"Torchic!" Torchic said happily.

 

OOC: It just so happens I have the Pokemon Firered Gym Leader music playing :P

Cade threw his pokeball in the air."Go,Growlithe!"he shouted.

Growlithe emerged from the pokeball and landed,barking."Growlithe!"

OOC: Is it a 1 pokemon each battle? or a 2 pokemon each?..more?

 

((OOC: It's one on one Tularim.))

"Grovyle, use Aerial Ace!" Leader D commanded. Grovyle complied and unleashed the attack upon Growlithe.

Outside the Gym...

"Um.. Okay, I guees." Jason was still blushing. "Go, Squritle!" Jason said, releasing the blue turtle pokemon from it's Pokeball.



VS.

 

"Growlithe,Bite its arm!"Cade shouted.

Growlithe rushed forward and bit the very arm Grovyle attempted to use Aerial Ace with,canceling it out.

OOC: Im not trying to god mode,but im a real strategist when it comes to this. xD

 

"Go forward, torchic!" she said.

Torchic propelled of Rei's shoulder and landed right infront of Squirtle.

"Scratch, now! aim for the face!" Rei told Torchic.

Torchic nodded and went for Squirtles face.

 

"totodile counterback with watergun" Shen said as totodile shot a water gun

 

((OOC: I got the Hoenn Gym Battle Remix playin'!))

"Grovyle, spit Bullet Seed at it's head!" Leader D ordered.

"Grov!" Grovyle unleashed a torrent of seeds at high velocity towards the head of Cade's growlithe.

Outside Gym...

Squrtile face got scratched up by Torchic's attack. "Squrtile," Jason yelled, "Use Rapid Spin!". Squrtile proceeded to tuck itself into it's shell and spin speedily at the Torchic.

 

After getting hit continuously,Growlithe had no choice but to release Grovle and avoid the seeds.

"Use Ember,burn Grovyle and his seeds!"Cade shouted,pointing at Grovyle.

Growlithe spewed Fire from its mouth,burning incoming seeds,and heading straight for Grovyle.

 

Rei thought quickly. I need to counter it... she thought. Peck! "Torchic, use peck on the top of the shell, but hold your beak on it;s shell!" she said. That should stop the spinning, if he hits it at the right angle...

Torchic nodded and attempted it, but got to close and was hit to the side by Squirtles spinning shell.

Rei gasped. "Torchic, stay in there!"

Torchic got up, not hurt too bad.

 

"Grovyle, dodge!" Leader D shouted. Grovyle leapt above the flames, but couldn't stop them from catching it's tail on fire. "Stop, drop and roll Grovyle!" his Tranier yelled. The lizard rolled arond on the floor, putting out the flames. "That's it! Use Leaf Storm!". Grovyle unleashed a maelstrom of leaves at the Growlithe.

Meanwhile...

"Squrtile, stop spinning and unleash Water Gun!" Jason commanded with boldness.

The turtle Pokemon stopped spinning and a small, but powerful, jet of water shot out from it's shell.

 

"Counter it with Ember!" Rei yelled to Torchic.

Tochic used ember and the water cming out of the shell turned to steam.

"Yeah! Keep it going, Torchic!" Rei said.
