"Be that as it may..." Cyprus stopped there. A glare from Lucia told him he was getting too hot-headed. As the facts stood, that was the last thing he said to the students before venturing out into the narrow hallways of the Pokémon Center. The center was built much like a large hospital, with rooms for sick Pokémon as well as a few ones for accommodated to people. All these rooms were dark as Cyprus made turn after turn in the massive Center. Eventually, he grew tired of the endless and empty search; the semester had just started, so there were understandably few to no patients or guests of any sort to attend to. As a result, the entire hospital was seasonally downsized to be run by only one nurse and a custodial staff. The custodial staff... surely he would have run into someone by now! It was at that same moment, Cyprus began to hear lively rock music.

Music such as the one that played was odd in the location, as Cyprus knew all the limited pool of staff on duty very well, and none of them listened to heavy metal sort of songs. It wasn't that the sounded offended him; he was proper, but not a "Fuddy-Duddy". The tunes were odd merely for their presence as they bounced off the wall and suddenly turned the hallways all around into a tunnel of sound. The singer, amidst the heavy guitars, was notably female, with a poppy, femme fatale sort of style; it also became apparent she had an accompaniment, with much a similar style, but the further down the hall Cyprus went, the more he recognized that the second voice wasn’t coming from a speaker; it seemed more tangible, as though someone was nearby and singing it.


“What in the name of Arceu-?” Cyprus’ question was interrupted as he was stupefied once he stepped into the doorway of the right room, where the music and singing was coming from. Inside, there was a young girl, probably 16 to 18 by Cyprus’ best guess, dancing about wildly in a Nurse Joy uniform. Truth enough, she greatly resembled the usual Joy who had staffed the Pokémon Center before transferring to the expanding Little Root. However, she had slightly different aspects about her that actually was more unsettling than the how much the rest looked alike. Cyprus hadn’t expected such a new face despite expecting a new nurse; it was this line of thought that caused him to freeze. It was the girl’s singularity that he found off about her?!

“Whatever, whatever, whatever!” The young Joy turned a bottle of shampoo into a microphone as she rocked out with her eyes closed. Evidently, she was just unpacking a duffle bag nearly as large as herself as it lay on a bed with tussled sheets, while she sorted the affects around the tiny room. The moments where he eyes were open were when she didn’t look at him. “I'm tired of you stinging me like a Gliscor in my heart!” ‘Well, points for range and accuracy,’ Cyprus observed, aghast, ‘but what on Earth is she doing-‘
“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Creepy guy! Avril! Get’im!” Joy screeched once she spotted Cyprus, dropping her bottle of shampoo and leaping behind the bed. This was the last confused view Cyprus had before his face was attached to a tiny Audino; a very mad, and “slashy” Audino. Cyprus doubled back as the floppy-eared fury dealt rabbit punches at his face with a notably miffed expression on its face. As much as Cyprus tried to pull it off, he found the Audino managed to hold on still. “Oh no! Audino, return!” The punches ended as a flash of red light took the Angry Audino into a Pokéball, leaving Cyprus behind confused and disarrayed.


Nurse Joy came rushing out of her dimly lit room, from which Cyprus could smell Oaky incense and Pumpkin Spice as candles decorated the ornate dresser/vanity across from the bed. “Professor Pine! Like, I am soooooo sorry for that.” Her voice was low and soothing like the usual Nurse Joy, but contralto to Alto rather than definite Soprano. “It’s just that… well, I let the custodians go off duty for the night, so I didn’t think anyone would be in the halls.” She was full of chagrin, partly for being caught dancing and singing about, and for sicking her Pokémon on the Dean of the School. Any way I can make that up to you?” Nurse Joy nursed the scratches on Cyprus’ face with Band-Aids out of the pouch on the front of her uniform. In little to no time, Cyprus’ face was liberally covered with purple and pink bandages that had pictures of Ghost and Physic Pokémon on them respectively. She had pasted a Drowzee across the bridge of his nose when he suddenly possessed enough will to stand, causing him to bound to his feet.

“Nurse, please!” Cyprus shook his head out of the daze and tore some of the more unnecessary bandages off, leaving a few that were covering scratches, like the Drowzee across the bridge. Lucia was there by his side, gazing up as her Master flew into a momentary fit of nerves as she sighed with disdain. “I am assuming you are now the resident nurse, of course?” He dusted himself off on the shoulders as Lucia patted his pant legs with her tails; though, there was little dust to speak of. Once patted off, Cyprus faced the apprehensive nurse.

“Y-Yeah, I was just hired yesterday.”

“And yet I can see you have found the time to deface your uniform?” Cyprus eyed the altered nurse uniform with a raised eyebrow.

“Ummm… Can I do that?”

“The usual answer: No. But my policy is: it is better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission. Just try to not do a lot of begging for much.” Cyprus offered his hand to shake. “You are the head nurse here. After all.”

Nurse Joy took the hand blushing. “Head nurse? Woa, I didn’t sign up to be head nurse. I’ve never-“ She knew the last bit to that statement was “even served as a regular nurse before!”, but Joy was not oblivious; she knew who Cyprus was, well enough, she just hadn’t recognized him at first. Quickly, she came up with a lie. “Had so much to look forward to in a job!” She changed her mood to a blank elation with this, as she shook Cyprus’ hand. Luckily, he bought it.

“I am glad to know you are up to the task. However, it may be best to keep your, Audino, was it(?), in the ball while we walk to meet the students.” He was gentile in saying the equivalent of: “If that thing comes within an inch of my face again, you lose your job.” The version he actually said prompted in Nurse Joy a more genuine good mood, and she nodded.

“Can’t wait to meet’em!”

 

Joshua thought about his new partner as he looked on at the events occurring before him. It seemed that an interesting school year lay ahead of him and Melody. Meanwhile, she was worrying about how things would play out with her own new partner. Wurzel didn't seem particularly interested in having been chosen to be a partner. Whatever happened, Joshua's thoughts would hold true: it would be an interesting school year.

 

“Now of course, you’ll want to make sure we’re well supplied on Pokémon food for the ceremo-“ Cyprus was stopped midsentence once he and Nurse Joy reached the entrance by Joy herself.

“Ohhh! Look at the cute little Eevee!” She squeed, before leaping at the opportunity to coddle the Eevee she saw in Topaz’s arm. “Can I pet he-? Wait a minute…” Her mood changed in an instant when she examined the creatures paw. “This Pokémon just battled!” Her eyes darted to a scuff mark on the floor. “In the Pokémon Center?? No way! Don’t you realize this is a hospital?” She was near to critical overload, so much that even Cyprus was unsure of how to handle the situation; Lucia was much the same way, as she could handle Cyprus, but did not deal well with calming down strangers outside of her influence. It was apparently worth a try anyway to the Ninetales as Lucia tentatively waltzed over to lick the back of the emerald-haired girl’s hand. The action produced the desired reaction; Nurse Joy was startled enough to come to her senses. “Well… I suppose we should heal up your Pokémon. May I have her? Also, who was the other participant in the battle? Well, I suppose anyone can have their Pokemon healed first; you’ll need to see how the machine works. Any takers?” Joy asked sweetly, putting one hand on one hip that she slanted out.

Meanwhile, in the labs:

“Stratana, can I have those data tables over here?” Lexi called over to Stratana, her lab partner. Both were young women around the age of twenty seven, and both were scientists that worked in the labs with a special study in the prominence of Shiny Pokémon on the island PokAcademy was located on. Lexi was the more lightly built of the two, with vibrantly blue hair atop her head and a fairer complexion. Lexi sat at the computer at one side of the lab room her and Stratana were working in most of that day. Just earlier, she’d helped Cyprus with surveillance when two students had left early during the Starter give away ceremony, and now she was ready to turn in for the night. All she needed to do was put some data into the computer and- She immediately stopped what she was thinking of when she spotted something unsettling on one camera that caught her eye. “Stratana! Come here quick!”

Stratana rushed over with data tables in hand. She was curvier than Lexi, with light pink hair that was wavier only slightly longer, blanketing her shoulders as she bent over slightly to increase her speed. Once over by the computers, she scanned the screens once she saw how intently Lexi was staring in horror at one; she couldn’t pick out which one it was until the same exact purpose caught her own eye.

“Lexi… is it looking at us?” Stratana whispered terrified to her partner. What they were both staring at was a detained Haunter inside a Pokéball. The Pokémon itself was a Shiny they had been studying just previously in the day, and as they looked at it, it was staring right back at them; a haunting, Cheshire cat grin stretched its features as the image in full color sat there on the flat screen.

“Don’t be silly, Lexi. The cameras are hidden so that the brightest of Pokémon won’t know they are being-“ Lexi tried to calm herself and Stratana at the same time as her nerves burned with anxiety. She was ultimately silenced when the Haunter nodded its head and waved at them! Lexi and Stratana cringed away from the screen, and Lexi pounded the button to change the video stream for that screen entirely on instinct.

“I am never studying Ghost Pokémon again after that!” Stratana stifled a tear of fright as she convulsed to get rid of the stillness left in her from the fear pulsating through her.

“Ugh! We’re going to have to watch that one, I think. It certainly isn’t coming out of its ball. Ever!”

“Yeah, I know what you me- Hey!” Stratana caught sight of the new feed where the Haunter had been, and it was the front doors to the lab. Two silhouettes were dashing out that couldn’t be made out. The flash of movement was so fast, Stratana wasn’t sure if what she saw was real or not.

“Hmmm?” Lexi asked half-interested as she hurriedly started crunching numbers into a keyboard from the data tables Stratana had brought over.

“Oh… umm… nothing. Probably just the Haunter getting to me. C’mon, I want to get home.”

“I’d say “Go ahead of me and I’ll meet you there”, but not after that little show.” Lexi laughed as she typed, trying to make light of the situation.

“I’ll wait up, just make sure you hurry; tonight feels way too creepy.”

"I hear ya." Lexi gave a little shudder as she typed at light speed.

Minun says he doesn't want to be pushy, but if he didn't have to say something every other post, that'd be great. C'mon guys, you are all excellent story-tellers and I try to give you enough information to look around a bit. Have a character examine the mural on the wall, have them sit down in a chair, talk to someone, anything...please?

 

"I would like to volunteer." Joshua said in response to nurse Joy. He followed her while Melody stayed back and attempted to commune with the others. "That was a pretty good battle." She said to Topaz and Diopside. "Maybe we can have another battle sometime later."

Topaz smiled at the girl. She laughed a little at the idea. "Thank you. Eve and I hope to do many battles together as a team and win each one of them." She said petting the Pokemon's head. Eve fell asleep in her arms. It was getting late after all. The sun had already fallen and the lights in the center had triggered. "We can battle anytime. Just not in the Pokemon Center. We don't want the Nurse to get mad at us like just now." As she said that she saw something in the corner of her eye outside. There were some figures. Probably just Pokemon that like to roam around at night. "It is getting late and Eve has already fallen asleep. We should try to get our Pokemon healthy real quick and head back to our dorms."

Diopside looked away at the group and made Juggernaut return to his Pokeball. "Let's get this done quick. I plan to sleep early and get up to catch Pokemon." He walked away to lean against the wall of the Pokemon Center. Everyone here is a fool. I will surpass Red and prove to you all I am the strongest trainer to ever exist. First I have to take down Topaz then the rest of you will be on my list.

The Professor had been heading towards the lab when the group all went to the Pokemon Center. She wished to discuss the the result of the research they were doing. The island was special after all and much of it needed to be discovered. However, on her way in, two figures passed her by. "Stop!" She yelled. These two weren't part of the staff on the island. Nor were they students. "You have entered private property. State your business and just maybe you will get off with a clean slate."

 

“Oh! Uh…” Nurse Joy rubbed the back of her head nervously. “Thank you…”

Cyprus could tell Joy was stuck for a name. “Joshua.” Cyprus bent in and whispered in Joy’s ear.

“Oh! Okay, Joshua! Thanks, Joshua. Here, just let me take your Pokemon, and I can show you all how the Reviver works.” Nurse Joy took Joshua’s contained Piplup and tossed him a peace sign before beckoning the others to the counter. She hopped over it, disregarding the fact she was wearing a skirt, and landed on the other side, where there sat a large machine with a red cross at the head of it against the walls, and there was a panel in the middle of it consisting of six dents that looked about the right size for Pokeballs. Nurse Joy placed Joshua’s Pokeball in the first dent in the upper left corner of the machine before clicking a keyboard key on her Laptop on the counter. “Just give it a min- huh? Error?” She read from the screen as a blue color illuminated her face. Just then, the screen went dead along with all power inside the Pokemon Center. “AHH!” Nurse Joy let out a tiny yelp as the room fell into impenetrable darkness where she couldn’t see anyone and everything was a solid black.

“Lucia, stick close.” Was what she heard before her eyes had to suddenly readjust to the light coming from a small pen-sized flashlight. Cyprus was holding it and using it to make sure everyone was in the room.

“Is everyone alright?” He asked, patting Lucia who stuck very, very close.

Meanwhile, outside,

The two figures in the darkness stopped moving when they came face to face with the Professor calling them out. One of the figures looked to the other and they smiled smarmily in unison.

“Prepare for trouble…” Said the male voice; a raspy, chain smoker voice with a slight musical quality.

“And make it… double.” Said the voice of a female lounge singing temptress sort.

Both were dressed in black, and they both stuck to the shadows so everything below their face could not be seen. The tore away at the front of their chests to tear away a meager black square cloth they both had on the front of their shirts. A brazen red “R” glared at Yew together, as the pair began to dash away. They were exceedingly fast and disappeared into the night without even so much as a distant footfall. What could be heard though, was the scurrying of tiny feet and the flapping of wings as a flurry of Pokemon came out of the dark, brushed past Yew and smashed through the front door thanks to a headbutt from a wild Zigzagoon. Shattering glass filled the lobby just as the lights came back on to reveal a collection of wild Pokemon that had abruptly entered the center. In attendance, there was a Purrloin, a Pidgey, and the Zigzagoon that had allowed entry, Sentret, Wurmple, Bidoof, Krikitot, Patrat, and a Lillipup. All of them looked either scared or confrontational, but in the group together, they certainly were a problem.

“Quick, everyone, take these!” Nurse Joy threw some empty Pokeballs from bins underneath the counter to all the trainers. She tossed Glacies in her Pokeball to Joshua before ducking underneath the counter. “Catch those Pokemon! They can’t be allowed to run around here! Not with all the problems with the electricity!”



A minimum of 3 players must post a match between BOTH their Pokémon and the Pokémon you wound up with for that character. Ideally, everyone involved posts, but since that likely won’t happen and we need to move on, not catching a Pokémon will result in that Pokémon for that player/character will be caught by Joy and sent to a different Pokémon Center. Hope you realize what this means: You don’t post; you don’t get a Pokémon. Cutoff date is July 13th, 2013; more than enough time to post.

 

Topaz jumped when the power went out. One thing the girl feared was darkness. And this was pure darkness. Her jump made Eve wake up and begin to panic a tad too. The lights came back on and wild pokemon had swarm the pokemon center. Topaz looked down at Eve who nodded back and jumped out of her arms. "Lets go Eve!"

"Hmph. Wild Pokemon huh. This should be fun." He reached into his pocked and grabbed his Pokeball." Go Juggernaut." Mudkip came out looking at the Pokemon and smiled, ready for battle. "Juggernaut, use tackle on the Patrat." Juggernaut attacked and did some damage. The Patrat countered with Tackle and Juggernaut did the same once more. "Alright, it's ready to be caught." He threw the Pokeball at the Patrat.

Eve used Tackle on the Wurmple in front of Topaz. Luckily it was a critical hit. The Wurmple used Poison Sting on Eve and even managed to poison it. Eve twitched from the poison. "One more Eve. Then we can catch the Pokemon! Please, try to fight the poison." Eve charged at it and once again hit the Wurmple. "Now time to make a new friend." She threw the Pokeball at the Wurmple.

Both trainers threw the Pokeball at the same time, however, the two balls bounced off one another go to the other's Pokemon resulting in Diopside catching Wurmple and Topaz catching Patrat.

"Dang, this is not the Pokemon I wanted."
"I was fighting that Wurmple... and our balls collided with each other. We should switch Pokeballs in the trading machine after this crisis is resolved."
"Yeah we better. That Patrat was mine."
"We will. No worries." She smiled.


Yew new that motto. It was definitely Team Rocket. But why were they here? They were disbanded years ago if she recalled correctly. No matter the case, they needed to be stopped. "Go, Frostine" A powerful Froslass came from the Pokeball with ice falling around its body. "Stop them by using Ice Beam!" The Pokemon charged and fired the beam of ice towards the grunts. Hopefully this could stop them in their tracks.

 

Suzanna smiled. "Finally! More excitment! Alright Chu! Let's show that Purrloin who's boss!" She threw her Pikachu's Pokeball.

"Pi-Ka!" Said Chu, sparkling as she exited the ball and landed on the ground.

Suzanna smiled. "Okay Pikachu! Use... Um... Volt Tackle?" She said. Turns out, she didn't know Pikachu's moves! With any luck, it had been bred with Volt Tackle. Wait... Wasnt't that Pichu?

Before Pikachu could do anything, the Purrloin used Scratch on her!

"Pikachu! Are you okay!? Use Thundershock!"

That move Pikachu knew.

Pikachu bared her teeth and her cheeks started sparking. "Piiiiiiiiikaaaaaaa..." Then she let it all out, "CHUUUUUUUUUU!" She zapped the Purrloin, making it unable to move due to Paralysis. What luck!

Suzanna saw her chance. She threw the Pokéball at the Purrloin, then watched closely.

It rocked once. This looked good!

Twice. Cross your fingers...

Thrice. Almost there...

Then it Clicked. Purrloin had been caught!

 

The figure with the male voice laughed, and the way he laughed, with his raspy voice, it sounded almost like he was pleasantly suffocating. His laughter was abruptly ended however when he looked at he sack his compatriot was carrying. "Kid! Stop!" Quickly, he pulled her into an alley way between two large buildings. The space was tight, but well lit, as the lights in the square flickered on all at once. "There's a hole in that sack!" Said the male. He was tall and limber, with a square head, roughly good features, a roman nose, green eyes and brown hair that was neatly kept under a black golfer's hat, and he looked to be somewhere in his late teens to early twenties.

"What?!" Returned Kid incredulously as she checked the bag. It was a limp empty leather bag she'd carted over her shoulder, and it indeed had a sizable hole in it. "I told you we should have put them in Pokeballs first, Billy!" She was roughly about the same height as Billy, only slightly shorter, and had a trim, somewhat pear-shaped figure. She was certainly in her late teens, and had a heart shaped face along with a head of raven hair that flowed lusciously past the bottom of her spine, and the same hat as Billy's adorned her head, but had a bit more of a cosmetic tilt to it. She was rather fetching, and much more graceful in appearance than Billy, but surely had as much roughness to her; it was in her fairy blue eyes.

"This is our first mistake collectively, at least that much can be said." Billy remained cool and tossed the sack aside off of Kid's shoulders. At that same moment, an ice beam fell upon them, just glancing Billy's left foot. The sudden attack caught them both off guard. "We don't have any Pokemon and there's one pursuing us!"

"I say we make a run for it!" Kid panicked and dashed off ahead of Billy.

"There is one thing that can help us." Billy stuck out his right wrist and pointed a wristwatch-like device with a devilish smirk of triumph. He clicked a button on the watch and within moments the Pokemon was carousing around in a confused state. "Kid, don't get too far out!" Billy shouted as he dashed around the corner in pursuit of his ally. Thus, Team Rocket disappeared out of sight.

 

Joshua was briefly surprised when the Machine malfunctioned and the lights went off. He quickly recovered though. "A power outage? That's unusual." His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of shattering glass. Several Pokemon came into the center with confused and frightened looks on their faces. Joshua had a look of determination on his face as Nurse Joy threw him an empty Pokeball, along with the one that held his new partner. He drew his hand to his shoulder in a horizontal manner. "I must call upon you assistance," He pressed the button and threw it. "Glacies!" He shouted. The pokeball spun forward before opening and releasing a blast of light that formed into his pokemon. He caught the ball as it flew back to him. "Let's do our best." He said to her. "Piplup." She squeaked as she nodded her head in agreement. The two of them challenged a pidgey as other students were making catches. "Glacies, use growl." His strategy was to calm the waters before he dived in. He did not know of his opponents power; it would be best to lower it slightly before attempting to make another move. Piplup growled at the Pidgey; which was slightly funny, a penguin growling. The pidgey, though slightly intimidated, attempted to Tackle Glacies. The move hit, but caused less damage then normal thanks to the growl. "It seems I made a good choice." He said aloud. "Now, Glacies, Use Tackle!" The piplup ran in to damage it's opponent, but the pidgey evaded it. It then hit her with another tackle. "No!" Glacies was still taking less damage, but it was still a low level pokemon; if it took only a few hits it would faint. He needed to wrap this up with as little damage as possible. Glacies, Use Growl!" The piplup stood back up and growled again; this time a bit fiercer. This Most definitely intimidated the Pidgey, greatly lowering it's attack. "Now use Leer!" Glacies Leered at the pidgey, who was slightly on gaurd after the growl. it tried to stay indifferent to the Glacies' glare. But this took much willpower as it was already shook up from the kidnapping attempt. "Move in now." He whispered to Glacies. She Slowly moved toward Pidgey, who remained adamant and refused to be sacred. Pidgey tried to peck at Glacies but it was easily avoided. "Glacies use Tackle!" Joshua shouted when they were merely a foot apart. Glacies quickly tackled the Pidgey, leaving it no chance to avoid the hit. She moved away before it could get in a tackle of it's own. "Once more!" She tackled again. Pidgey was now weak enough for capture. "Pokeball, Go!" Joshua shouted as he threw the device. It knocked the pidgey on the head before opening up and enveloping it in a red beam. After a bit of rocking, Pidgey was caught. Joshua walked over to the pokeball and picked it up. "Our first catch." He told Glacies.

 

Though it was chaotic for a while, when everything had somewhat calmed down he called out his pokemon. "Ready for some action Dile?" The pokemon responded with a few quick happy jumps. From what he'd heard, there were some wild pokemon that were up for grabs. A perfect chance to see what his new partner could do. Soon enough, they spotted a Zigzagoon nearby. "Dile, use scratch." Using the element of surprise to it's advantage, Dile attacked the opposing pokemon while it was distracted. The Zigzagoon didn't like that too well and responded with a loud growl. "Don't let that stop you, keep up the pressure!" Dile did exactly that and continued attack the pokemon until it was noticeable weaker. Seeing his chance, Gray tossed a pokeball at it. 1...2...3, the Zigzagoon was caught.

Alex wasted little to no time in bringing out his pokemon, who looked a him with a excited look. "Alright Flare, let's go find us a new ally." Though they didn't have to look for long as a Lillipup ran into Flare. Flare skidded back a bit, but didn't lose his footing. "Flare, scratch!" As Flare ran at the Lillipup, the battle turned into who could deliver the most damage in their attacks. It soon came down to both pokemon looking weak and breathing heavily. "Come on Flare, just last a bit longer." His hopes were answered as the lilipup collapsed and Alex tossed a pokeball at it. Within second, it was caught. "Great job Flare, enjoy your rest." Alex said, returning the pokemon back to it's pokeball.

 

Catching event has been closed. Since Flood posted for Joshua, and I know how he's been having technical problems lately keeping him from posting, I'll cut him some slack with Melody.

Everyone who has posted has received the Pokemon that they caught and were assigned. Expect a post to go here somewhere over the course of tomorrow. Check the Skype chat for such an update when it occurs. Gonna aim for no later than 4 O'Clock in the Afternoon.

 

"Wurzel, use tackle." Melody said as her battle with a sentret began. Wurzel did as instructed. Her tackle, however, was countered with a tail whip. Melody thought to even the field. "Wurzel, use Leer." With a cocky look on her face, Wurzel opted to growl instead. This was met with a tackle from the sentret. Melody gasped. "Wurzel please, use leer!" This time, Wurzel obeyed. She leered at her opponent. The sentret attempted to attack again, but Wurzel evaded it. Then, without being told, Wurzel once again tackled. The critical hit gave Melody the perfect opportunity to throw her pokeball. After three rocks and a click, the sentret was hers. She sighed as she picked up the pokeball. "That didn't go quite the way I had hoped, but at least it's done."

 

Bidoof continued to scurry around the inside of the lobby with a frightened rush, knocking chairs aside and making a racket as the sole Pokémon left uncaught. Nurse Joy hopped up from behind the counter and landed back over on the other side with a fierce, deadly look and a Pokéball in hand. “Behave yourself!” She shouted at the pacing Bidoof, and momentarily lost her demeanor. “Oh man… I sound like one of my sisters.” She said out loud, embarrassed by the fact before snapping out of it to throw the Pokéball towards the sitting area. In a flash of energy, Avril the Audino appeared with a fixed expression of determined spunk. “Avril, use Heal Bell before taking on that Bidoof!” Nurse Joy commanded, and with a single movement, every Pokémon in the room, save for the foe, Bidoof, was cured fully.

It soon became apparent, however, the Bidoof likely did not enjoy being left out, as it hit Avril with a tackle, no longer confused by its displacement. “Alright, Avril, we’ll have to capture this thing to set it to ease, so weaken it up with a fire punch!” Nurse Joy commanded and Avril obliged as her small fists lit up with an orange flame that didn’t seem to harm her as she dealt Bidoof a blow with one solid punch. As Bidoof staggered back, it was evident that it had been burned. It winced with pain, but readied another attack, as it dealt another tackle at Avril. “Avril, use After you; you can take another hit, but we don’t want the Bidoof to take any more damage than it will a little longer with that burn.” Nodding its head seriously, Avril allowed Bidoof another tackle, before the small fuzzy quadruped double back with its burn. “Alright, time to catch this thing and end this!” Nurse Joy threw another Pokéball at Bidoof, who was then converted into energy and was taken into the Pokéball. Nurse Joy clenched her jaw as she watched first one shake, then two, and breathed a sigh of relief on the third that was quickly followed by a click. She walked over the way where the Pokéball laid on the ground and picked it up. “Thanks, Avril. Here’s a berry.” Nurse Joy smiled as she handed her Audino a berry that would fully rejuvenate it. “Thank you all, actually.” Nurse Joy nodded her head at all the students.

Meanwhile, Cyprus was just getting off a phone call with a very worried expression. “I’m afraid there’s an issue with the road to the dorms. A swarm of Weedle. They are being dealt with before they can breed, and hopefully also before they evolve. Still, we cannot risk anyone being poisoned, so I am afraid we will have to stay in the square for tonight.”

“Oh, you’re free to sleep in the Pokémon Center, Professor.” Chimed in Joy.

“Erm, thank you, Nurse; I was about to ask.” He looked towards the busted door. “However, there is the issue of-” WHAM!As he spoke, a metal screen fell from the top of the door frame and fell to the bottom of the frame as Nurse Joy pocketed a small device back into her blouse pocket. “Well then, never mind.”

“Right this way, guys.” Nurse Joy casually beckoned to the others down a hallway to the left of the counter. “There are rooms numbered one through six, go ahead and pick one. I’ll help with anything you might need. But generally, good night.”



Pick a room and end your day. Not ending your day by June 19th, 2013 will result in a half a strike, per the rules.

Also, sorry it isn't formatted. I wanted to get this in as soon as possible before I had to leave for a rehearsal.

 

"Thank you nurse Joy." Joshua said. "Yes, thank you." Melody joined in.
The two of them went to deciding on their rooms. "3..." Said Joshua to himself. He chuckled to a private joke. "What could be better?" He decided on number 3.
Melody saw josh pick his room. She wondered to herself which one she should pick. She counted out her most important friends. Counting Joshua, she reached 5 and picked that as her room for the night.

She went straight to bed, with some worry about what the next day might bring.

Joshua stayed up for a little while, thinking about the days to come...

Topaz saw that it was pitch black now. Eve was curled up half asleep in her arms. It was tired from the consecutive battles. She pet Eve's head and looked over to Diopside who seemed very irritated about the pokeball mishap. "I know you are upset, but it is late. Maybe we should ask Nurse Joy to trade them tomorrow. I bet she will let us." She softly said with a light smile.

"Yeah, it is getting late, we'll do it tomorrow or whatever." He stood up and went into one of the rooms provided. You better give them back Topaz, or it will be the end of you.

She saw Diopside go off and her eyes began to get heavy. She herself was beyond tired now that she had time to think about it. She walked into the comfy little room, undressed into some pajamas, and laid in the covers with Eve right next to her.

 

Alex over heard what Nurse joy had said and a part him wanted know why they couldn't just use there pokemon to clear the path, but then again most of their pokemon were probably worn out from the previous fighting so that wouldn't do them much good. Instead he went ahead and found himself a room number 1 and headed in. Getting his things situated, he climbed into the bed and went to sleep.


Gray on the other had didn't have any qualms against the decision and went to go get a room. When he found said room, he placed his pokeball nearby him before getting into the bed and falling asleep.

 

Cyprus went about the business of knocking on doors in order to wake up the students from slumber. The night had passed normally, and Cyprus awoke early as to be the first one up; such was his nature. It was much to his surprise however, when knocking at Topaz’s door, he spotted a sight that made his stomach turn. There was Nurse Joy, with her back to him, walking down the dark hallway… in her underwear… Cyprus clasped one hand over his eyes and lost some of his balance. “Nurse!” He barked.

In response, Nurse Joy shrieked and turned toward him, not that it mattered; his eyes were tightly shut and covered. “Headmaster! I didn’t expect anyone to be up this early!”

“It’s 6:04!”

Nurse Joy paused for a moment. “Do people normally wake up that early…?”

“Yes!”

“Oh…” Nurse Joy went absolutely beet red in her frozen face, and dashed back into her room.


At that moment, Lucia walked out of Cyprus’, stretched out her back by extending her front paws, and yawned. Meanwhile, Cyprus was mentally scrubbing the image of the not altogether unpleasant, but far too young Nurse out of his mind. “Students! It’s time to go! There is a great deal to do today!” He was on the verge of tears, and Lucia could tell from his manic voice. Simply, Lucia shook her head in an almost grimace.



Wake up, everyone! We're back!

 

Gray was enjoying the sleep that he was having, until it was interrupted by a knocking on his door. The voice was soon recognized and he got up form his bed. First he went ahead and put his clothes before heading out the door. Once he was back in the main room of the center, he waited for everyone else to show.

Alex on the other hand had gotten up a bit before Cyrus went along waking up everyone. He just laid unmoving in his bed. The knocking only fave him a reason to finally get up from the bed. He took a quick second to get dressed before heading out. What he saw when he arrived in the main part was that aside from him, there was not that many people here. Guess they'll be here sooner or later.

 

Joshua opened the door and walked out of his room before Cyprus was done knocking. He was an early riser, and had spent some time getting to know Glacies while he waited for the others. As it was now time to get up, He expected Melody would soon awaken.

She did. Melody quickly got dressed and reported outside the room she had stayed in. She was Excited that they were finally going to attend PokAcademy. She also hoped nothing went wrong. Then again, it was the first day; anything could go wrong. She shook the thought out of her head, as she was determined to maintain a positive attitude on this day.
