Pokémon the Kanto Journeys (re make)

"I'll let you start." Leon told Michael.
He didn't know why... but his sister had always let her opponents make the first move too.
He just for some reason felt he should do the same thing.

 

"Charmander use Ember"(mines lvl 8 so u have a shot at winning)

"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!" said Charmander as small flames exploded out of his mouth.

 

"Hang in there Charmander!"
Charmander shook off the ember, remotely unaffected by the fire type move.
"Awesome! Now use headbutt!"

OOC: Can be learnt as an inherited move. (If it's game style move rules)

Also... are we going by the anime move style, or the game move style?
Like can our pokemon have more than four moves, and also, can they learn moves like Flamethrower not at ridiculously high levels? (like in game)

Michael: "Charmander dodge!" Charmander doged... "Yes!" now use Skull bash!" (Ash's Charmander used it against Erika in the Anime)

 

"Tch... Stand your ground Charmander, you can do it!"
Charmander stood strong and recieved the skull bash, but was able to stay standing.
"Now hurry, use Flame Tail!"

 

Alphonse stopped as he came into view of two battling trainers. "Pffft.Let's show these guys how strong you are!" "Squirtle!" They ran to the battle "Hey can I join!"

 

"Huh?" Leon got distracted by the new arrival of someone.
"Wait a sec! you can't just join a battle in progress." he insisted.
It was true, the common known rules of a pokemon battle were that once a battle had begun, no one else should interfere until the match is decided.
It's only the likes of Team Rocket that would break such a rule and Team Rocket were nothing but scum.
He wasn't trying to be mean, it's just how things worked.

 

"Hmph!Fine but I challenge winner!" Alphonse said sitting down and eating some rolls.

 

"Good cuz i just won. Charmander, Use DRAGON CLAW (ooc: Learnt as an inheritted move from Charizard with that move)"
"CHARRRRRRRR!" critical hit!

 

"I don't think so! Dodge and use Iron Tail!" (same as your Dragon Claw)
Charmander dodges barely and uses Iron Tail! Because Charmander dodged so closely to the other Charmander, he's so close it really can't miss.
"That's right Charmander! We aren't gonna lose our first battle!"
"Charmander!" it said confidently.
"We aren't beaten yet!"

 

As Charmander recovered from the Iron tail, Michael thought...then he said "Charmander, OUTRAGE!" (same as dragon claw and iron tail)
"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"As the Dragon Flames Exploded out of him. Michael looked shocked. "Charmander STOP! I WENT OVERBOARD J-J-JUST STOP!"
It was too late, Charmander succeeded in injuring Leon's Charmander, But then fainted from the shock. "CHARMANDER!"

 

"Charmander!" Leon ran over to his Charmander.
"...Char.."
"Charmander... I... I..." He looked up at his opponent.
Be more careful, if a trainer isn't sure whether a pokemon is ready for a move they shouldn't use it! It's dangerous!"
he remembered one time he had watched his sister practising 'blast burn' the most powerful fire type move, with her Charmeleon... it hadn't worked out so well... it was only once it had evolved into Charizard that the move was controllable.
Despite being a new trainer, Leon new a lot about Pokemon.
"Outrage is way to advanced for a pokemon like our Charmander's who are just starting out."

 

"I-I-I know, I dont know what happened!"USually charmander had no trouble with Outrage. What had happened?"We better get them to the Pokémon center in Viridian city! C'mon"said Michael.

 

"Pallet town is closer to us right now! We should consider going to the lab..."

OOC: Also, I don't think we should say were they got the moves from repeatedly, as long as we know it's a move they could have... Like Charmander with water gun is unreasonable of course. But anything normal should be fine.
I only said where my charmander knew the moves from before because I hadn't been sure of the move rules.

When they got to the lab, Michael remembered when he saved charmander... If he hadnt gotten there b4 it started raining..."Poffessor Oak, How r our Charmanders?"

 

"They are both recovering nicely. It seems your Charmander, Michael, has a type of pokemon cold. It is much like a normal human cold and will go away in time, but that could explain why he lost control when you tried to make him use outrage." Prof. Oak said wisely, recalling their earlier account of the story.
"...So much for our first battle being a success..." Leon said in a melancholic tone.
"Don't be too hard on yourself Leon. Your sister didn't do so great in her first battle either."
"What? Really?"
"Why yes of course, it happened right outside this very lab, right after she chose her first pokemon which she nicknamed 'Chara'. She had to work hard to get as good as she did today. Both her and Chara."
Leon nodded slowly. "Right..."

 

"Yeah"Michael said... "guess we'll wait here until our Pokémon feel better..."

Alphonse stepped into the room."Hey is your charamander okay?"

 

Angelie heard yells,fights and voices all around. The forest must have been busy this day, she hadn't heard so much sound in a while. Luis dangled from behind her should, biting her lightly, a sign he was hungry. "Your not getting any Poffins til we get to a pokecenter, I'm low and the others have to eat too." Angelie scolded her pikachu. Luis whimpered and then went to her head, clinging to the back of it.
