In my opinion, the Flying type should be changed to Wind type anyway, especially considering the fact that many "Flying" type moves are wind based. Wing Attack and Peck would be just fine as Normal type moves. Fly could be be Wind type just by what flying involves. Anyone else agree?

 

I edited it silly, and yes, it seems they are basing more character on real life objects, well they are all based on something like that, but they are more similar to the objects. If the story is good, then I don't think I'll mind. I wish I could play with people overseas though, still having trouble connecting it to the internet.

I seriously hope that we're not getting any other kind of washing machine Pokemon. Rotom (and Drifloon) was a good Pokemon and all but ehhh..., not sure if i would like to see another object turned into a Pokemon.

 

Oh lol, I didn't see those pokemon, the only game I own at the moment is HeartGold. May I see the Gothic pokemon?

Problem with me is that I'm so used to Gen two games, that's why HeartGold was good for me. It will take me a while to get used to a Gen five game. Hmmm, which one should I get?

Isn't the only difference between the black and white games just the pokemon and maybe the villian? The same plot and stuff?

 

They'll be adding and changing some of the gameplay and features. It'll be the same old "Beat 8 Gym Leaders, stop an evil organization or two and then screw over your ******ed named rival again and again" but it'll have different Pokemon and stuff.

 

I apologize in any over-complication, sir. It appears to be the only properly logical explanation I can come across, however.

A few of the Japanese named for Pokemon can be considered rather "uncreative" (i.e. Umbreon = Blacky), so it is not consistent simply with this generation. Perhaps we may fare better with the English names this time, though I do hold small bits of doubt.

One would certainly wonder why Flying is not changed to "Wind" - especially considering how certain elemental types are lessened in complication by giving them simpler names (i.e. Steel = Metal, Grass = Plant, etc.), however, would one still believe that a pure "Wind" type may be achieved? The only sort of creature I may base this on in my current state of tiredness and uncreativity are Pokemon created out of actual manifestations of wind, such as tornadoes or some such, or even aerobacteria.

There are also two new game-specific regions, Black City and White Forest.

@What?: Not exactly, because, for example, Psychic type Pokemon are not psychic energy manifest. They really only use it as their main weapon. Flying type Pokemon use wind in a similar way. They use wings to kick up tornadoes and other various attacks. But as you said, a Wind type would probably include Pokemon made out of wind. However, that would be fine with me. In my opinion, types should be more diverse than just one type of Pokemon rehashed over and over again. Changing "Flying" to "Wind" would allow for a lot more diversity.

 

I think the Flying type thing has something to do with the stat balance. Like a Pidgey would just get it's ass kicked all over the place without normal stats being added. That or it's simply because it wouldn't have a balanced (or workable) moveset if it was pure Flying.

 

I actually think the reason there are normal/flying pokemon is that in the 1st gen gust was a normal type move. And since pidgey had it they probabley made it normal so it would work.

Seriously, people who complained in the previous posts i guess they will stop now with all those new features.

And the story about the main characters is actually (more) interesting! Man i just read the news and i can't believe it!
