Well, at least we got random wi-fi matches now.

Okay, that part itself is kind of cool. Random wi-fi matches sound like they could be fun.

If those are indeed the new Pokemon then one may soon call me capricious in my attitude towards Generation V by the end of this month.

I do believe the professor has been confirmed to be named Dr. Araragi.

    Unsurprisingly, Zekrom was indeed [IMG][IMG].

    Reshiram, however, is rather surprising:

Also, here is the apparent map of Isshu if it has not been posted previously.

Assumptions on the basis of the United States were proven correct. I can relatively make out a combination of Manhattan and Chesapeake Bay. Although never do I recall everything north of the Financial District to be desert and woodland.

Yeah, I'm back. *waves to people and takes a deep breath8

I'm hoping that they're going to get a lot more creative. I liked the wifi, though I didn't have it for a very long time and for that, couldn't use it. Overall, I just think they're not even trying anymore. They're recycling the same thing over and over and over again...

If I want to spend 40+ hours doing all the work, including catching pokemon and such, I want to be entertained, not bored out of my skull. Please, just stop throwing some shiny stuff on top of it. New pokemon, a handful of features, a new team that seems to be less and less entertaining every generation, and a rival that is starting to be even more boring isn't going to cut it for me and probably more of the older gamers.

As I put it, Moo goes the cash cow.

It is pretty obvious that this will just be a carbon copy of the past games with different Pokemon (except for in caves and water). If not for the fact that the games have hardly changed in it's basic plot and layouts of progression for four generations it's that this was announced pretty early and is said to be released sooner than I think it should, which proves it's the same plot with changes to graphics, a few new and probably useless features (screw you berry blending) and replacement characters for the players, the rival, the villain squad and the professor.
Hand me the revolver on your way out Game Freak.

One thing I do have to note, they're doing the same old thing over and over because it gives them money. If people keep on buying these games because they see the new shiny thing and nothing else, they're going to make the same damned thing again.

Until people stop buying these games en-masse there's going to no change at all. I just keep on hoping that people will start to learn that maybe it can get better if they stop buying them because they just toss on something that will make something entertaining for five minutes. (yes, I hate all new features, too. You name it, I didn't like it.)

I was very surprised to find out that Resiram is a fire type. Anyway new region looks very intriguing. Unfortunately those new Pokemon =/

A crocodile with glasses and a freakin pigeon? Seriously...? And i still can't understand what they were thinking when the were making that Girafarig rip off! Hihidaruma looks kinda cool though. I suppose i'll get used to them with time. *crosses fingers that Lapras won't get an evolution*

I'm starting to think that the Girafaripoff might be a pre-evolution form. Anyone else agree?

    Girafaripoff....hahah.

Could be, but the colors are all wrong. And biologically, how do you get a giraffe from a zebra?

    Maybe it's an AntiGirafarig.

Actually, looking at the tail of Reishiram it looks a bit like one of those flaming lantern things but pure white.

New encounter menu looks interesting IMO. Really liking how the new legendary Pokemons are looking like in the game.

The legendaries do look pretty badass in game but the new encounter screen is a bit fugly IMO. It'll take some adjusting to get used to for me.

It looks like the white legendary is daring the starter to attack him.
He's like "What? Bring it, *****"

So I'm guessing weather is going to be a bigger influence in the battle since the menu has a weather section.

I don't know if the influence of weather is going to change. I just assumed that the icon was there for convenience of knowing what the weather is at the moment.

The weather may have been improved upon to effect the elemental types differently. I hope that is what has happened anyway I always felt pretty crappy when rain didn't do damage to rock and fire types like hail does to anything that's not ice.

If the weather thingy is there to replace the effect of the weather i'm gonna be seriously mad. Is it so hard for Gamefreak to incorporate constant weather effects during battles and outside of it while on the map? Gosh we're in the 5th gen and all we get is a weather bar.

New trailer. Contains new (crappy) Pokemon. Apparently triple battles are part of the game now. Hurrah.

We got the dual battles and your telling me there is going to be triple battles?! I think dual was as far as it should have done- -_-; I haven't seen the poke'mon but I heard the versions would be called Black & White...
