|Pokémon| ~Born to be a Winnér~

'A thing for Pokénurses', he said? How... odd.
"Uh... all right." she said, before walking up to the PC. She didn't have anything stored there, that much she knew, but she figured now was as good a time as any to get aquinted with the system.
"So, this is the Pokémon storage box, and then there's this..." she trailed off, talking herself through the system, despite honestly not really knowing how it worked. Still, the system was easy enough to get used to.
She turned back, to Boota and Kamina, who were both sat surprisingly calmy behind her.
"I guess you two ought to come back now." she said, taking out their Pokéballs and withdrawing them, before storing them back on her belt. Kindle, being so small however, was no problem at all to keep around for now.
Since they hadn't been in any battles at all yet, she guessed her guys wouldn't need to be healed up just yet, so all that was left was for her to wait for Sky to finish.

 

Skye reported back to his mother and was on his way back into the lobby, his Geodude came hovering over to him, euphoric.
"Geodude, Geodude, GEODUDE!" He hovered around Skye, very happy that he let the Pokénurse take care of him.
"Haha, you enjoyed that, didn't you? You're welcome!" Skye said, lightheartedly.
"Geodude!"
Skye walked over to one of the benches in the lobby and sat down. He brought out his guitar.
"So, I promised you guys this, didn't I?" he asked, smiling.
Pichu was now awake, and she was very enthusiastic about Skye playing. She loves it. "Pi-Pi-Pi!" She said, jumping up and down.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle sat down at Skye's feet.
"Geeeeeeeodude!" Geodude was still euphoric, and couldn't be happier.
"Alright then," Skye said, as he started playing the guitar.

 

Ralts happily waved at the new Eevee while Totodile happily smiled upon making a brand new friend. Larvitar stood a little back from the others with his eyes closed and stubby arms crossed. Noticing Larvitar's unfriendly behavior Seth just let out a sigh "don't be like that at least try to make friends" Seth muttered to his Larvitar. Listening to what Seth said Larvitar merely raised his arm at Eevee to say hello and crossed his arm, all without opening his eyes. "...well at least you did something" Seth said with another sigh

 

Leon headed down a small pathway to Ellie's house.
She only lived 5 minutes away so he was there in no time.
There she was... outside in the front garden playing with a whole batch of new-born Eevee.
That's what her family did. They were breeders of the rare and wonderful evolution Pokémon.
She noticed his approach when she looked up and she smiled at him.
"So... today's the day?" his childhood friend acknowledged.
"Yeah... I'm completely ready other than one minor detail." he smirked.
"Oh? and what could that be?" she asked him, standing up as all the other Eevee went off to play with each other... but one. Who stayed near Ellie.
"Well I couldn't just leave without saying goodbye to a certain someone."
She smiled warmly as she pulled him into a hug. This got the little Eevee by her feet curious as she moved closer to Leon too, sniffing him.
"Hmm?"
Leon knelt down and held a hand out to the small Pokémon. The little Eevee shrunk back at first but slowly proceeded forwards one step at a time until she could sniff his hand and allow him to pet her...
She then ended up rolling over has he tickled her tummy, the little Eevee cooing with enjoyment.
"Wow... you sure do have a way with Pokémon." she noticed. "This little girl is so shy around everyone but me and the other Eevee's.. but she warmed up to you almost instantly."
"Pokémon come in many types huh?" he asked rhetorically. "Every single one is different."
Ellie smiled, "Well, I guess we know which one is yours then huh?"
Leon looked up at her with a blank stare as the Eevee rolled over again and looked up at Ellie questioningly.
Ellie also knelt down to their level and looked at Eevee. "Well, how about it? Would you like to go with Leon?"
The Eevee looked back and forth before chirping it's own name, it's tail moving happily. "Eevee! Eev!"
"There you have it." she grinned at Leon.
"Are you sure?" he asked both of them. To which they nodded in unison.
It was funny, it was like Eevee could have almost been blushing.
"Heh.." Leon gave a small laugh before reaching into his bag and pulling out a Greenish Pokéball. A Nestball.
If he remembered correctly, they were good at catching low level Pokémon. Not that it mattered since the Eevee was willing.
He laid the ball on the floor as he watched the Eevee timidly move to it, sniffing it and then nudging it playfully with her nose. "Eevee?" it looked up at them curiously.
Both teenagers smiled at it warmly, giving it the confidence to nudge the button in the center and get pulled inside of the ball.
The ball clicked immediately.
Both teens stood up again.
"That's a going away present okay?" she said, hugging him again.
"Don't worry, I'll looked after her well."
"You better." Ellie winked at him.

"Oh don't worry, I have a friend who calls himself 'Pinky', who literally might as well be the living colour." she joked, as she took his hand and shook it too.
Yes... it was going to plan, this was the guy she had been sent to meet. "Wanna sit down?" she asked gesturing to a nearby table which was on a more isolated side of the centre.
After all, it was probably easier for them to discuss what was needed in some sort of comfort and closure.

Black nodded, smiling at her joke. He led her over to the table and sat down. "I'm here to deliver both a message and...well, I don't know what to call it," he said, all of a sudden serious. He motioned for her to come near. "First things first, as Granny Black would say. The message is from you-know-who, Mr. Boss Man himself. Surely you know who I mean?" Black was referring to the Champion. "We have it under good intelligence that the Heretics are making their move, Ms. Laia. We don't know what their plan is, but it has something to do with Ruby Desert. You are to intercept them there." He pulled his backpack up to the table and opened it before proceeding to dig through it. "I will meet you there to aid you of course. Now, for the second delivery," he let his message sink in as he searched for his 'precious cargo.'

"Not too friendly, I'm guessing?" Castiel said about Larvitar as he looked down. Ashes was jumping around Elekid in circles while Turtwig followed. Elekid himself looked annoyed. Suddenly, an idea settled on him. "Hey, Seth...you said you're participating in the PLCT, right? Got any badges yet?"

 

Laia listened to his words with interest.
"So... it's for sure if the Old Timer himself is ordering this." she commented, referring to the champion in her own jokey way.
"Consider it done." she smiled, as she then waited for him to continue after he had searched through his bag.

Seth watched as the two pokemon surrounded the poor Elekid and couldn't help but smile. Upon hearing Castiel's question he looked up at him "unfortunately I do not. Although I have done some training, I just officially decided to start my journey today" Seth said "how about you?" Seth asked

 

"Where should I go from here?" she thought out loud, Kindle still sat on her shoulder.
The Litwick responded with a series of sounds that approximated the meaning of "I'm fine with anywhere."
"You're just happy so long as you get to hang outside your ball, right?" she asked her companion, who responded again in the affirmative.
"That's great, but it doesn't really help. I wonder if I should just go with Skye? He seems the kinda guy I could stand to be around at least. And maybe I should try the gym challenge too. It's gotta be better than going round without a reason, right?"
Kindle just nodded simply; she really didn't mind what they did, but fighting a tough opponent every once in a while might be nice.
Having now decided, she decided to get up and find Skye to ask him, which was particularly easy since the boy was playing his guitar once again in the open. She took a moderate breath, before approaching him once again.

Skye noticed Taylor approaching him. Without skipping a beat on the guitar he looked up and continued playing. "Alright, so I talked to my mom," he explained. "Do you have any plans from here on out? I'm going to train my Pokémon before heading to the nearest gym. That's... in Aquaduct city, Am I right?"

 

"Makes sense, It's not like I have to head to the next gym right after our battle." Akira said as starly stopped flying and landed on his shoulder. "So, how long do you think it will take before you know if anyone else is comming to the gym?
"Stary."The pokemon chirpped also curious about the answer.

 

"Yeah, that's right." she said, refering to Aquaduct being the next city.
"And I think I'm gonna take the Gym Challenge after all. Gotta get some tough opponents for Kindle somehow, right? And hey, since we're both going for it, maybe we should stick together. Then we only need the eight badges between us."

OOC: Also short.

 

"Well, let's wait for around 2 or 3 days, because someone coming from Aquaduct City or Satoshi city might still come, and I can't leave just before they arrive." Mizu kept walking toward Boulder City, seeing the buildings get taller as they got closer. "With that time we can always train our pokemon for your upcoming gym battles, and I can get my pokemon stronger for when I come back to take over the gym again. I can't leave it in the hands of my mother forever, you know?"
As they kept walking they past a signed that read "Boulder City 8 miles ahead".
"Glad we're finally getting close. I could really use for some food right about now." She looked over at Akira and smiled and then began to laugh.

 

OOC: I accept your challenge

When Holden called out for the gym leader, everyone that was practicing stopped and looked around for the gym leader. "That would be me." Ren said coming into the main room. "I guess you’re the newest challenger.



"Sounds like a plan. Who knows, maybe i'll catch another pokemon while were training." Akira said before his stomach started to growl. "I guess I could use something to eat too." He said chuckling slightly.

 

"Well, maybe I'll race you to town, because I don't think I can hold on much longer." Mizu rubbed her stomach, starting to get really hungry. She wanted to grab grass for how hungry she was.
"There's a really nice place to eat in town, I'll show you." Mizu began to run towards the city, begining to think of all the good foods she could eat.

 

"Alright then. Do you have anything you need to have done beforehand?" Skye asked. "I need some more things that what I brought. Some Pokéballs, some potions, and some stuff for myself," he explained, as he continued playing. "But first of all, I think we'll just relax a bit here before leaving. My Pokémon and I haven't slept too much lately, and -" He interrupted himself with a yawn. "Sorry, and we need some rest before doing anything at all. So I'm just going to sit here and play these guys to sleep before I call them back into their Pokéball, alright?" Skye's face looked more and more tired, as well as his Pokémon."

 

"I might need some stuff, now that you mention it. I only just decided to take on the Gyms, so I don't have anything that'd help me fight 'em." she answered. "I should have enough Pokéballs for now though, and I've got a couple of potions, but that's not gonna win much."
Of course, now Taylor had to decide what she did need, as opposed to what she didn't, which would likely be a little more difficult.
