A few more updates today. Mainly confirming that the gym leaders are downloaded and that Meloetta and Keldeo unlock other stuff within Black and White 2. Also it's been confirmed that Team Plasma is back. Though they don't look like medieval knights anymore. They look more like ninjas/secret agents. And I kinda figured it was Team Plasma. But at least they're not dressed in those outfits anymore. And I thought Team Galactic was weird the way they dressed. So who's betting Ghetsis is behind this?

Go there and click on the picture Meeting Cheren. Then click on the picture Earning the Basic Badge. Proves it right there. And it probably is Ghetsis since you see at least one of the other sages but it would be kinda lame if it just was him. They could be like GSC and have the team try to bring him back and this actually works. That'd be pretty cool.​

kinda strange his pokemon is so weak though. I don't think I've seen any first gym with pokemon that weak since FireRed and LeafGreen. And I'm kinda bored with those badge designs. Can't we go back to the little, fatter ones?

 

Uh... the original Pokemon Gold and Silver had the first gyms strongest pokemon at Lvl 9. Also in Heartgold and Soulsilver the strongest was 11.

 

I don't remember. HGSS I just don't remember much from. Probably the only pokemon game I've actually sold back to gamestop

 

It really wasn't that memorable. GS were much more memorable in their prime.

 

Well duh, they had more of an impact on you as a child than as a teen/adult. Anyways an anime movie/comercial is gonna come out today showing more stuff. The shadow triad, those cool ninjas that really did nothing, are back and guessing by how Team Plasma looks right now I'm guessing they are the current leaders. Also the Electic Gym Leader Elesa is back and is in the same gym. So imagine her two years older.​

 

I just saw this on serebii...why do you have to keep getting news before me? But I think it'll be cool getting an anime based with the characters from the game. This will be an interesting trailer. After all, this is made just fro the sake of Black 2 and White 2. But maybe those ninja people we saw in that one picture were the shadow triad? Oh well, I don't know, but at least they'll do something in this game.

considering that was just introducing the games, I've had my mind blown. I mean, compare it to what we get on TV, I might just watch this thousands of times in place of every pokemon episode made so far. The animation is much better, and I kinda like that we don't get the pokemon talking like that anymore. I seriously want the show to get rid of Ash and go like this. Literally use these characters, have cheren, for crying out loud, and all the other stuff. Heck, we don't even have Cheren in the anime right now, which really stinks in my opinion. I don't care if this will be all japanese, I'll watch it even without subtitles

If we get a pokemon game that incorporates scenes into it like these, kinda like how we got CoM, I will buy every pokemon game from now till the day I die.

 

That doesn't seem like something the DS could handle. If it can then it will look glorious.
But, as everyone else has said, this is a nice addition if it is implemented into the games. I could see it getting even better during the 6th gen and RSE remakes.

 

Seriously, that needs to be put into an anime if it can't be handled on the DS. They already make Pokemon Chronicles, and that used the characters from Gold and Silver, so why not make an anime based on these?

 

It would be a fantastic idea. Get rid of Ash and make a good old fashioned hand drawn anime like the one they displayed in the trailer.

 

The trailer reminds me of the opening movie for Baiten Kaitos: Lost Wings and the Eternal Ocean. It had a full-rendered cinematic opening which were actual scenes from the game, but when the scenes actually happened, they were in normal gameplay graphics: sprites, text boxes, no voice acting, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they're going that same route.

 

If only I hadn't taken an early night. Anyways N seems to have found more stuff to wear. Sad to see the evil looking rival is friendly. I want a rival closer to Gold and Silver though not HeartGold and SoulSilver. There's hipster Bianca in her glory. Cryogenicly frozen pokeballs. Is it me or is it possible this professor could be evil? We see Elesa again saying something that must have gotten that Emboar angry. Skinny as usual. Like I said Team Plasma are now ninjas. It'd be cool if Cheren started wandering the world after you beat him becoming your second rival. Told you the Shadow Triad were back and it does seem like they are indeed in charge, most likely trying to bring back Ghetsis. So yeah. Betting my bottom dollar N is coming back. Hopefully with a full name too.​
