I hated PokeDex 3D since the beginning because it lacked the Pokemon from Gens 1-4 but sense this updated version will have all the Pokemon that was ever made (Gen 1-5) including the new ones that will make an appearance in Black and White 2 I am a happy camper :)
What do you guys think about this updated version?
I personally wish there was an updated version to "My Pokemon Ranch" too but oh well :/

Frankly, the only thing that would make me consider buying this would be the AR Searcher. I was never a big fan of Pokedex 3D (call me crazy), and the only way that I would be interested is if they incorporated an online aspect (trading Pokedex data with 3DS friends or something).

I am more interested in the AR searcher to be honest. It must be fun finding Pokemon in the real world.

I liked the idea of Pokedex 3D, but I would've preferred it if you could actually just use AR Cards to see the pokemon "in the real world" instead of having to fins those annoying little codes. I also disliked the fact that it only had the Unova Pokemon.

This seems a bit better. However I'm not sure I'd pay that much for it to be honest.
The AR Searching would be something I'd be willing to pay for, it's a pretty neat idea.

I agree, the price for an updated version of an app that is free is a bit high. Hopefully when it reaches in North America it would be lower then $18 because Yen converted into USD is usually more then what it would cost outside Japan so maybe $9?
