It happens around here.

 

It's because people respect popular members because other people do as well. I, however, can see the reasoning behind not giving noobs the same respect, I tend not to think too highly of people who act like idiots in an attempt to gain this respect *cough*THE DREAM TRAVELER*cough*. And I for one do not think Xakota is a noob, I think he is really cool guy who could be seen as potentially a newb(and that's very iffy he's been here for the past few months).
