Poetry..........

Ever read poetry and feel totally wierd? i noticed this when i first booted up kingdom hearts 5yrs ago...... i felt as if everything that sora said when the game first starts was happenin to me! "I've been havein' these weird thoughts lately......" "Is any of this for real or not?" i felt excatly like it! has this ever happened to any of you guys?

 

not very often, however i have been moved by some poetry but not to the point of tears or nothin'.

 

Well Poetry is ment to make the reader feel the same was as the poet did when he/she wrote it, so maybe that's why you felt that way

 

It happens to me constantly with music and written arts.

Poetry has that 'flare' that for some reason can adapt to any kind of feeling...

 

it happens to me a lot with music. i suppose i just prefer music, but i would like to get into more poetry.

 

Some times i'm moved by poetry.

 

I think it affects me more than evryone else cuz i'm emo and i take everything to heart.............

 

Im moved by music, when i Lift I put on hard rock or old school gangsta rap and just go at it.

 

same here. when i first played kh1, i also felt kinda wierd when sora said that. it got me thinking though, and got me hooked on kingdom hearts. now i listen to odd musics and stuff, and it really gets me inside.

 

It's happened to me all the time! I can name sooooooo many songs/poems/quotes that bring me to tears.

 

Depending on the type of poetry, some can even bring a tear to my eyes. Including some of the songs (yeah, songs are types of poetry) that I write can move me.
