Oho, this one is a day early guys. I haven't mixed up my calender, I just need to get this done out of the way before I leave for a month. There was an inviting range of entries submitted last month as the topic proved popular. Good work guys! However, there can only be one winner, and the title goes to Plums Vi Britannia with his poem, seen below. The poem sought an alternative to the usual rhythms used and whilst reading it the flow of words came easily. Overall it just struck me as a beautiful piece with a great variety of vocabulary; not as colorful as other entries but suitable for the topic at hand. Well done Plums! This month's theme is perhaps a little different from the usual. Poems submitted must be in the form of a haiku. For those of you unaware of what a haiku is, your poem may have any number of stanzas, but each stanza must be three lines long, with each line respectively having five, seven, and five syllables within it. Definition Here. Closing date is the end of this month. Good luck everyone! <3
I just added more to this one, so that I could show more of what I meant by it Oh the end is near and I am in tears for you for you, Sora, for you We have done it all all that we could do is done the end is near now When you died for me I was heartbroken for you I was heartbroken Now I know, we know that we will be together now that I shall die Oh at my last breath when I see your face comming for me finaly And we will rejoice because we are together at last, forevermore
A sweet dream I sit back and laugh Looking to the shining stars I can't help but laugh Admiring the sky A silent giggle escapes. How can you not see? Look closer there's more Everything's written there It's all in the stars Let me help you see Look at those stars there, you see? I need your open eyes You see more than stars You finally see the world The way it should be Now close your eyes tight Catch your dream remember Always this night. Good night, morning's here. I may be gone but always I will be with you.
YAAAAAAAAS I love this topic, haiku is about the only form of poetry I can do ^_^. The summer wind blows, Shimmering the scarlet rose, Perfume to the nose. ... I did not intend that to rhyme as well ^_^;.
The Sky The sky has become darker than black, I've never seen this before now. What is falling down from the unforgiving sky that's holding us down? Is it that the sky is angry with us, for the torture we gave her? Or is she crying, To save our very souls from our destruction?
