U no, I've always wondered why Sora and the others had to sleep in pods instead of something else to recover their memories. Plus, I really don't understand how sleeping in pods would do nything in particular. Wat do u guys think?

The pod was basically a computer that interacted with the human/aniphormorphic animal's brain in order to restore/destroy memories. Other wise they would've had to do brain surgery...and last time i checked Namine' didn't have a license. Pretty simple,no?

Yeah, Axel pretty much said it all. It was just a place that they could stay so they wouldn't be disturbed in this important time.

Well what else would they have used if it wasn't pods?

The pods themselves were irrelevant. It could have been a bed, or a cube, or a room. But the device was primarily to protect Sora from danger and keep him asleep while Namine rearanged his memories.
