I'll def voice over my own lines, but I just need to get a good mic, unless a Rock Band mic works lol

 

I hear they're actually fairly decent, I've got my Turtle Beach X21's for my voice stuff, which do me just fine.

 

Ooooooh. My friend has a Turtle Beach too. We're planning to do some Let's Plays over the summer so yeah.

 

Speaking of voice acting I'll just leave this here in the hope that it'll help some folks.

I'm not opposed to it.. I guess.. but I don't have any equipment that would suffice.
I'm also not sure if my voice would work well. Imo it doesn't sound good for characters and stuff, so if someone else wants to do mine they can.

Any mic would be fine so long as I could have a quality test beforehand (if it's just low, I can work around that; if it's just really fuzzy, then we'll resort to having Sforz do it). Optimistically, I'd have everyone voice their own character. Even if you don't think you'd be good for it, you'll never know unless you try; and besides that, I picture you as more of a stoic character anyway.

tl;dr - I'd rather you try, but you're not obligated

 

Suggested ideas where to put it: at the end of the credits, quiting after a game over, after leaving the character select screen without doing anything.

 

We should totally use that, but get a karaoke version and have Ghetto sing it.

I donno, Kitty can be pretty manly when she wants to be.

 

Might just do it at the end of the credits (which will also be good depending on whether or not I end up doing one game file per char). Anywhere else would require more complex coding.

I'm also making a compilation of all the songs in our "soundtrack" so far (album cover's the character select wheel after the patch). Anyone want it when it's done?

Out of all those, one's the best. Even so, it seems like it'd be better suited for a more professional product (like if Konami made a fighting game or some such). I'll keep them in mind though.

 

eh, i'm not good at picking generic songs, and I was just going through my soundtrack list seeing if I had anything that might work. Thought I'd give some suggestions anyways.

 

Signing the Ghetto karaoke idea but in the meantime I'll just put the regular MvC2 version on the IST

Also keep the main menu themes coming, it's like the only thing out of dozens of tracks that I don't have a single idea for and I'm the idea guy

So, I made this. Not that I don't like the one that was already made, I was just looking for something to do out of sheer boredom. If you don't like the minimalist-ness of it I understand, but I find minimalism sexy on boxarts or whatever so I like it. I didn't spend long on it obviously, but I kinda like it so I figured I'd share. I probably won't add more to it unless people actually like it or I just have nothing else to do.
Also, this isn't an attempt at making a potential boxart this is just the result of me having nothing to do.

eh, the only mic I have is the one on my (i)phone, which is good, but not up to standards I'm sure. I've used it for school projects but that's not a thing like this.
