I just want to say I think they are important as the actors/directors/people in the film industry have something to aim for, it's like the new pin system (okay bad example) which means they'll try really hard to produce something exceptional. It motivates them.

But if I don't catch it, I look online the next day to see who won what awards.

I try to watch as much as I can if I decide to watch it...

It only does in certain categories such as 'Best Comedy,' 'Best Animated Feature,' and 'Best Picture.'

C) An adequate amount.
But I do think there could be more advertising to watch it on TV.

5. In your opinion, are the Academy Awards important to the film industry?
A) Yes
It tells people some of the movies that were released over the past year and if someone didn't see a movie that they hear about form the Awards ceremony, they can rent the movie from somewhere, barrow the movie from someone if they know someone who has a copy of the movie, or they can go somewhere that sells the movie and buy it.
