I haven't played any PS1 games on my PS2 yet, but I was wondering do you need a PS1 memory card to save games or will my PS2 memory cards work? Also, if there is a thread already like this, please don't yell at me
I don't know...I've saved like PS1 Spyro games to my PS2 memory card, but I havn't be able to save MEGAMAN games to it...and it's full of space.
Yes, you do need a PS1 memory card to cave the PS1 data. I've never heard of a PS2 memory card holding PS1 data; but if it works then by all means go for it. :/
I heard of this glitch that can save PS1 games to PS2 memory cards, but other than that, you need a PS1 memory card.
Yup. Right around there. Maybe 15 at most for new ones if a place still carries them lol. And you can transfer PS1 data to a PS2 card but you still need a PS1 card to save your data.
Yes, you will need a PS1 memory card to save the games. Other than that, the games should be fine. I still play some PS1 games on my PS2. It's a necessity to have the PS1 memory card if you want to save.
Yeah thats a good point. I have some PSX games still and I cant save a single one to my PS2 card, I have to swap them out.
I always found it near impossible to find PS1 memory cards in shops, even in game specialist stores. Ebay was perhaps the best place to find 'em. Usually gettin' a pack of three for a few pounds.
I couldent save them onto my ps2 memory card but I sure as hell could copy them to it. o-o I guess you could just use the ps2 card for storage.
