    The Son of Sobek was another crossover short story e-book, featuring Carter and Percy. It ends with something that could lead quite nicely into a full crossover for Blood of Olympus. :D

    I swear that as soon as I get enough money I'm going to pre order the book so I can get it before it sells out. And if they do a crossover I think I might die from excitement, but if anyone dies I'm going to close it write where it is and not read it for another month. My favorite non-main character already died that means no one else can.

    How is it that everyone in the series was happy at one point in the Heroes of Olympus but Nico wasn't. If something happens to Nico Rick will have a revolution on his hands.

    ...but actually, this. Writers have an obligation to give their characters development; by this point, I think Nico has either hit rock bottom or is pretty darn close, so hopefully, that means the only place left for him to go in Blood of Olympus is up.

    So Staff of Serapis is worth reading? I've been hesitant to read it because I wasn't all that impressed with Son of Sobek.

    I was loads more impressed with Staff of Serapis. For one thing, Annabeth + Sadie = sass overload. Also, while resolving its own immediate plot, it ties the two series together very nicely (more so than Son of Sobek) and sets up some impressive sequel hook-age for more potential crossovers between the series. It has a big-ish spoiler for The Serpent's Shadow (which is a couple of years old) and a couple of very light spoilers for Blood of Olympus (nothing relating to the story's plot, only the status of a couple of characters after the matter).

    So I have officially just finished reading both e - books. @Zekushion The Staff of Serapis is definitely worth reading. After having read both, it is easily discerned that they both take place after Blood of Olympus, which confirms the safety of three of our loveable characters and favorite War Ship. I was thinking Son of Sobek was during the time frame between The Last Olympian and The Lost Hero but after reading the latest e - book I now know these are both in the future. I'm guessing that there will be another e - book [ maybe two ] to wrap up this story line. Since Blood of Olympus is supposed to be the last before Riordan moves onto Norse mythology, it's safe to assume he won't be making a regular book tie up this crossover. Think it is a safe guess to assume the last e - book won't come out until after Blood of Olympus. Definitely interested in seeing where this story goes.
