Jones was mad with rage,his eyes turned yellow and he started looking like the soulless undead that he was.His voice sounded more demonic and he started crushing Acid's neck.
''Listen,Merman,you're swimming on a very thin line you jelly filled scum.Don't you dare test me.''
His eyes went back to normal and he told Recoal to go on the scale.
''Recoal,why do we want the pearl?''
Recoal gave him a look and Jones nodded.
''Because when you died on your last quest to find the pearl with Captain Whitebeard,Hades offered you a deal that if you bring him the chest that the pearl is inside of,he will give you back your mortality.The crew travels with you because you promised us new lives instead of our condemned criminal lives.''
Recoal closed his eyes and the side that he was on weighed more instead of the other one.He was telling the truth.
Jones looked at Acid.
''There,now think twice before you call me human,Merman.What now?''

 

"What now? Duck" acid said, and from the side of the wall, literally, an giant ax, big as hell, comes swinging out, and if recoal didn't duck, then he would be headless

 

Jones noted what happened.
''So if you lie,you get crushed,and if you tell the truth,you lose your head?''
Jones told Recoal to get off the scale.
''So,how do I get the scale?''
He tightened his grip on Acid's neck.

 

"Why should I? I am one of the last of my kind, and I am the only one who can translate mermen. Just about every merman has been killed, and my kind is so rare that people could usualy see me only once in their life time. So how about you be a good little boy, and put me down. Cmon, down boy. Of course, you can kill me right now, and never get your hands on it" acid said lauphing. He didn't exsactly fear death, and he was mocking jones now, by treating him like a dog.

 

Jones' hand was slowly getting worst.He remembered that Hades would'nt be very patient for long.He threw Acid down to the ground and pulled out his sword.
''Merman,if you do anything stupid,I'll cut you down regardless.You have no idea what hell is like.I'm not about to go back down there because a fish-man is feeling cocky enough to make a fool of Death.''
He kicked him to where the writting was.
''Now read.Or else...''
He turned Acid's legs started to shrivel up and die.Then,in a huff of black smoke,they reappeared
''....you get the full body treatment and you'll have to explain to Hades why you would'nt let him have what he wants.I have the Lord of the Dead on my side,fool.Now read those carvings.''

 

"Lord of the dead? Well then, the lord of the dead better realize that mermen do not care for death. If you want me to cooperate and get you this libra scale, then I better get some more respect, you got that. Its lucky for you that I am feeling particularly good, and I will be allowing you to keep it" acid said to jones with a smirk

 

''Fine then.Mr.Acid,would you please be so kind as to read the merman message on the scale so that I may be on my way and never trouble you again.'',he said grudgingly.

 

Acid began to lauph histarically. "I didn't mean that much respect. What are you, a landlubber?" acid said, as he began to roll around on the ground, tears coming out of his eyes. Then, as he calmed down, he stepped onto the scale. "Ask me why I want the pearl."

 

''Acid,why do you want the pearl?''

THen in the very center, a secret door opened, and there stood the libra scale. "Oh yes, and the captain sends his regards. He says to keep up the good work" acid said, as he walked outside.

 

Jones smiled.He picked up the scale and signaled to his crew to get back to the ship.
''Here,a gift for your Captain.''
He reached into his coat and pulled out a bottle of rum and threw it over to Acid.
Then tey travelled out of the forest and got back on the ship.Jones noticed the Night's Pride.
''Hm,I wonder what she could be doing.''

 

Acid grabbed the bottle with one arm, and with two other arms, he picked up shadow and matt, and he walked back down to the sea reaper. He ran into creed along the way and said "He got it". "Good. Very good. We are recieving allies quite quickly, wouldn't you say?" creed said to acid. "Indeed captain." acid replied

Jones was in his cabin looking at the items he had:The capricorn coin and the Libra scale.
''10 more,that's all I need.Soon,I'll be mortal again.''
He looked at his hand and pulled off the glove.His hand a still a black skeletonial hand.
He was thinking of which item to go after next.Zeon had some of the items,and Varnor and Belle had their share.All he had to do was see which force could kill the others first,then he could side with the winning team and get the Pearl's chest.
He climbed up to the crow's nest and looked back at the Night's Pride.
''What is that girl doing?''

 

Creed sent a pigeon over to belle.

Dear Brod.

Wow, you have one bluty temper there, dontcha. Perhaps you should try to hit me the next time you want to fight me. Oh well, I don't have time to deal with you, especialy when it is your "time". So how about you just be good, and take orders. We are going after aries next, the ram. We want to cut off its hoof to, so make sure you bring a good, rusty old knife to hack the thing off, got it.
