"Excellent, miss. Thank you, and good day." He walked off, twirling Iron Chocobo. "That lass wields a key as well, eh?"

 

Emerald glanced at the man walking off and said, "Wait...why did you want to know?"

 

He coughed. "No reason, lass. Dying relative, bank account issues, etc, etc."

 

Emerald frowned. She didn't exactly like being called 'lass' and wasn't going to keep her mouth quiet about it. "My name is Emerald."

 

"John. A pleasure, miss. Now, I must be going. Sorry about the 'lass' comment. Ta-ta." He started to walk away.

 

"Wait, one more thing..." Emerald said, taking a step forward. "Do you happen to be...a pirate?"

 

He coughed louder. "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but I am insulted! I'm not a pirate..." He started walking away. "...I'm THE pirate."

 

Emerald widended her eyes, hatred filling her. However, pasting a smile on her face, she walked over to John, grasping his right arm. "Wait, John...I've been searching for a pirate...especially one as prestigious as you, as you make yourself to be."

 

"If you call the guards I'll be bloody angry. What is it?"

 

"I want to join your crew," Emerald answered. "I have no intention of calling the guards, so you do not have to worry."

 

"..." John started laughing.

"What's so funny?" Emerald demanded, crossing her arms.

 

"I came here LOOKING for a crew!"

 

Cade stopped and looked over at Jon''A crew you say!?count me in Captain...?''Cade trailed off,wondering wehat his name was

 

"Hm...then I'm part of it," Emerald smiled. Glancing at Cade, she turned to him. "Who are you?"
