Pirates of the Carribean 4 "On Stranger Tides"

So the new Pirates movie is coming out May 20th! It's been quite awhile since the third movie was released, so I'm pretty excited to see it :)
Any other hardcore Pirates fans pumped for the new movie?

 

I can't see it the day it comes out because I have my stupid school play(which will not be stupid if i make stage crew... ) and the day after I have the Honor Thingy Car wash so I have no idea when I'm going to see it and it makes me so sad :( I really wanted to see it the day it came out.

 

Yea I know how you feel. I was gonna go to the midnight showing on the day it comes out but all the tickets are already sold out at the movie theater near my house :/

 

I'm looking foward to seeing this movie as well when it releases, downside is, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time movie release around that time too so it's a bit troublesome.

Of course, I mostly look forward to Jack's humorness parts as well as the fight scenes, Loved Dead Man's chest of Jack's 'tribe' village and swearing.

I freakin' love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I'm so pre-ordering my cinema ticket so I can see it, the movie comes out May 19th here I think.. I'm preparing for the fan girl screams when Johnny Depp 'Captain Jack Sparrow' first appears on screen no doubt I'll be one of the fan girls screaming XD

 

if it dont come out soon imma start stalking the director...

 

Yes, actually, I'm looking forward to it. I really don't care if this follows a story or not, I just want to see Cap'n Jack doing this thing on the silver screen again. You KNOW I'm going to watch this movie, buy the DVD, buy the Blu-Ray and buy the soundtrack for it.

So again, yes, I'm looking forward to it.

I like Johnny Depp,so I probebly will end up seeing it.
But really,do we need another Pirates of the Carribbean?

 

I love Captain Jack, but my personal favorite is Barbossa, so I'm glad he came back for this one.

 

I'm quite excited to see it, to be honest I thought at first "they're really just milking it now" but after seeing the trailer it actually looks decent. I saw Barbossa in civilian clothes and that interested me, it should be interesting, just like a proper Pirate movie. Well, I am probably one of the only ones who enjoyed the last two so I'm sure I'll like this one as well. It is a prequel isn't it?

 

I would have really prefered Will Tuner in it since he's my favorite character(and hes hot) but I think this movies going to be really good.

 

I'd actually like to see how this plays out with a different supporting cast.
Usually Johnny Depp never fails to impress his fans, so it should turn out well.

The last couple of movies ventured a bit too far off track for my taste because they became almost too sci-fi based as opposed to a pirate story. from the trailers i've seen it appears they've toned down the sci-fi-ness of this film and brought it back to what it was in the first one. it's my little sister's bday that day so i'll probably see it with my family then. besides, for my graphic communications class i've been using illustrator to create a jack sparrow drawing just because it was the first thing that popped in my head, but the more that i look at it the more pumped i get. so yes, i'm excited!

 

My birthday is this week, but I plan on holding off my party till the 21st to go see it. (I don't like going the first day a movie comes out since it is always jammed packed. Plus Saturday may work out better for most of my friends.) I really want to see it. XD ​

 

I'm ready for it. The IMAX closest to me is going to be screening it. So excited, but then again I'm a huge fan of the series.

 

To be completely honest, I told myself I wasn't going to see it. I love the Black Pearl with all my heart. But the other two just didn't stand up to the first movie at all, and I kind of felt that they were going downhill. Of course, the (Cap'n) Jack Sparrow-isms make the movies (the whole "I've got a jar of dirt" thing makes me all warm and fuzzy inside c: ), but the stories themselves just weren't doing anything for me. To be clear, I do still like the second and third movies, I just feel it would have been better as a one-movie kind of thing. :/

But when I saw that On Stranger Tides has an 8.3 rating on IMDb, I was all like "whaaaa". That's a reeeaaaally good rating for IMDb (it would put it up in the top 250 if it stays consistent). So.... heck, I'd see it regardless, but I think this one may make up for the second and third movies.

 

I think I'll see this movie when it appears on tv as some movie special or something. As much as I appreciate Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow and all his shenanigans, I'm kind of tired of the franchise.
