she packed a few more things

 

"I never did like that monkey." Mark continued to mumble to himself. He picked up a pistol and some extra shots and powder.

 

she left the house

 

Mark followed Lyra outside. He stared in horror at the site of the Black Pearl. One of the masts was broken and there was a gaping hole where the captain's quarters should be.

 

"thats...bad.."she said

 

Mark just kept staring at what was left of the ship.

 

"maybe someone could fix it?"

 

"Yeah but it could take at least three months." Mark mumbled. Suddenly he smiled. "Though thid does give us a chance to see the town."

Mark stood up. "So is now a good time?"

 

"yeah.'...

 

"Where would you like to go?

 

anywhere."

 

"Great. Ladies first."
