well three years after lyra had little jack,she mark and jack left the brethern court and set off on the seas again,just sailing forever,but this war is still coming,and jones,angry that mark defeated him again is following the sparrows more closely than ever,planning to strike and kill when the time comes,minewhile lyra is expecting her second child to mark,but will this be different to the first one? and the east india trading company is on the move,kill hords of pirates at a time...can this war end?

Hiero silently leaned against the wall, trying t oavoid looking at his over-bearing girlfriend. "Hey, look, some colour's coing back!" Kate squealed in glea lifting a patch of Hiero's pale hair and seeing a hint of brown. "It's hair..." Hiero pointed out. "Yeah, but it used to be brown and now it's this icky white and it's all because you went into hiding!" Kate lectured angrliy. "Speaking of which if you ever do again i'll cut those crown jewels off..." Hiero silently stared at his girlfriend a hint of fear in his eyes...

 

Mark walked up. "Looks like you two are fine."

Kate beamed at him, looking dangerously at Hiero at his look of doubt...

jack ran down the deck,chasing the kitten that belong to them,laughing his little head off,swinging at it with the little toy sword
jack...sweetie leave him alone..."lyra said going to him and picking him up

Mark put an arm around Lyra. He ruffled Jack's hair.

"Jack, what did I tell you. Jab then swing twice."

 

"ohhh ok daddy! i forgot! wheres the kitty?'
'mark! i told you not to teach him that stuff till hes older! helll kill that cat!'she said laughing

 

"I also told you to use the wodden sword."

 

"cant find 'em!"he said laughing,"so i got this one...'

 

"You threw it overboard didn't you?"

 

"no...'jack lied,"the kitty cat stoled it!"

 

"Don't lie to me."

 

"he did stealed it! he looked it from my handies and thats why i ran for him! i swears!'
