Rules
1. No Powerplaying/God Modding.
2. This applies to those of you who are familiar with the Assassin’s Creed series. You(and your ancestors) are not allowed to possess Eagle Vision.
3. You may not be related to any character from the games.
4. I’m not allowing anymore Modern Assassin/Ancestor pairs. Once those are taken, you can have one but not the other.
5. Don’t hesitate to ask me questions! Also, you don’t have to be good with history to join this RP. I’m terrible at it honestly.
6. Don’t nitpick on historical details. I’m not great with them but I’ve been trying to do as much research as I can to lighten the load on everyone.
7. Stay active!
8. If you look down below, you’ll notice that I’m not allowing German assassins to be used. That’s because of Prussia. It’s too awkward for me to deal with so just stick with the countries listed.
9. The Hidden Blade is a traditional stealthy weapon used by assassins. You may only have one of these. For those who have played the game, you know that the designs have changed over the series. You cannot use those advanced versions(no hidden gun, hookblade, etc).
10. To add onto rule 9, your assassin must start with weapons that would exist in his/her continent. Chinese weapons(like the rope dart) will stay with Chinese assassins and Europeans weapons(stay with the Europeans. Bows, crossbows, throwing knives, swords, and practically anything you can think of exist in both Europe and China. Just make sure to use the right variation of those weapons for your assassin.
[Example: A rapier is not a Chinese sword.]
11. Assassin Ancestors will gain more weapons as the RP progresses. Modern Assassins will be given weapons on a situational basis.
12. I reserve the right to add or modify any rules as I see fit.

Modern Assassin

Name: “Griffin”
Age: 29
Sex: Male
Personality: Tough on the outside but deep down, Griffin is even tougher on the inside. It wasn’t the deaths of the people he called “family” that made him this way but the hard life of an assassin. He spent more time on the frontlines of the war against the Templar Order than most others and it’s taken a toll on his value of life.
Appearance: Griffin
Other: He, alongside a three others were responsible for ensuring the survival of the descendants who traveled with León de Lobos to China in the 1580’s. The other assassins know him simply as Griffin, this is unclear as to whether it is his real name or something else. Griffin is the closest thing to a leader the group of survivors have.

Personality: León is a much kinder person than the leaders of the other brotherhoods, so much so that it can be intimidating to those who meet him. Though he was born into the life of an assassin, it never damaged his outlook on humanity even after countless battles. Though young to be in his position, he is both wise and extremely talented in combat. Despite his light demeanor, he takes nothing for granted and will never hesitate when it comes down to making a hard decision.

Other: As a Mentor, León often carries more equipment than lower ranking assassins. Experience gives him the ability to easily choose the right tool for the right situation. He is the one who gathered the group of assassins from other brotherhoods in Europe and brought them to China. During the voyage, he has continued their training and made sure they were fluent in Chinese before stepping on foreign soil.

Personality and Bio: Alessandro, or Sandro as he prefers to be called is a lot more laid back than most of his Assassin brethren. He's been raised in the Assassin Order from birth, his lineage tracing back hundreds of years to Italy mean that his family are tough and proud of their origins, but he however often chooses to skip out on his training figuring that there are more fun things he could be doing. Despite his laid back demeanor, he's still rather skilled through his years of training and he knows how to be serious when it counts. He does consider his family to be a bit too old fashioned though, and feels that as a Modern Assassin, he's out of place compared to the rest of them.

Name: Alessandra (Alessa) Bartolomew da Firenze
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Personality and Bio: Alessandra, or Alessa as she prefers to be called is from a noble family which has ties all across Italy and to the Assassin Order. The name has changed over the years depending on where in Italy the family resides and through marriages and such (variations include Bartolomeo, Bartoli, Bartoloni, Bartolena, etc).
Alessa was born into a loving family and four years later, was blessed with a younger sister. Unfortunately, what should have been a happy life was torn away from her. One night when Alessa was just six years old, she was allowed to stay around a friend's house for her first ever sleepover. ...The goodbye that ordinary afternoon was the last she saw of her family. All she returned to was the remains of a burning house, two adult corpses and no trace of her younger sister among them.
Not having time to grieve as young as she was, she was swept away to Rome and into the Assassin Order where she was raised and trained. She would have been raised as an Assassin anyway as with any member of the family, so her life was still similar in direction in at least that regard.
Years passed and Alessa matured into a spirited young woman who doesn't let the past hold sway on her. In the Rome Brotherhood, she's known for her witty and amusing nature as well as her deadly skill and focus. Despite being a woman, she doesn't let her gender be an obstacle and instead uses her feminine wiles to her advantage. Despite still being young, she has wracked up a number of impressive achievements already.

Name: Amy
Age: 18
Sex: Female
Personality: Amy is a hard worker to the core; she has a strong determination to push herself as hard as she can to achieve her goals. She won’t give up, no matter the odds stacked against her and feels she always has something to prove to everyone, usually putting lots of pressure on herself. She enjoys having fun though and being around people, she’s definitely not shy. Though she does tend to put work before her own happiness. She is loyal to those around her, doing all she can to protect them .
Appearance: Amy. She is fairly small and is usually seen wearing her much loved earphones.

Personality: Kathleen is possibly one of the sweetest people you could meet, provided you don’t piss or off or become her enemy. She has a very pleasant demeanour about her and an uplifting spirit, she’ll seem to always find a reason to smile no matter how bad the situation gets. She is extremely used to being underestimated and usually enjoys that, especially when she proves them wrong. Despite this, it is advisable not to annoy her as she is not one to be pushed around and can hold her own. She is very hard working and determined; she will not give up easily.
Appearance: Kathleen. She is very petite and appears much younger than she actually is.

Other: Kathleen prefers to fight long distance but is quite fast and agile close up. She is also a formidable actress, especially when exploiting her innocent appearance.

Personality: Quiet, almost brooding, for someone who doesn't know him well enough. He generally has an intense atmosphere around him, but works to protect those who need it ( which he deems to be everyone but himself ). He's almost careless for his own well-being.

Name: Anastasia “Ptichka” Olelkovich
Age: 22
Sex: Female
Personality: Much like her descendant, Anastasia is quiet and almost brooding, despite being smaller than most people are. Her height is about 5'1”, and she stopped growing when she was fifteen. Because of this, she always trained harder than the others to make up for lack of height, instead becoming a nimble, flexible, and incredibly extraordinary monkey. She is often the person to come to for a comfortable silence, or a companion, and will comfort you without having to say a word. She only has a few ties with her extremely wealthy family, and has only called on them once or twice to help, but she's very proud when it comes to these things. She's usually first to test out any danger, and is protective of those she works with.
It takes a lot to earn her respect, but it's worth it.

Personality: Averi has a bit of a wall she puts up where she hides behind sarcasm and jokes, but if you're able to move past that wall, you'll find out she is fairly sensitive deep down. She can be rather blunt at times, but she rarely means to be truly offensive.

Personality: Li is quiet, and doesn't reveal too much about herself at once. One might describe her as slightly reserved. She can be easily made to blush, but very difficult to make laugh. It can be assumed she's somewhat serious.

Weapons: Dagger-Axe, Curved dagger, Thunder Bombs, Hidden Blade
Other: The daughter of a travelling English priest and a Chinese Herbalist, Zhuge Li was raised alone by her mother. At the age of 11, she learned that her mother was actually a member of the Assassin order, and shortly after, began her own training.
Due to her focus on the usage of her Thunder Bombs, she is also highly skilled at throwing small objects one-handed.

Age: Twenty-Four

Personality: Compared to her ancestor, Claire is a lot more serious than one would expect. However, she is extremely calm in stressful situations and chooses to not overwhelm herself with certain events. Of course, there will be rare times that Claire will show a bit of panic and distress, however it is not often enough for her to considered herself fragile and feminine. In essence, Claire is loyal, courageous and reliable; however, she can be stubborn and can sometimes show herself as unemotional.

Personality: Though serious at times, Catalina knows when to take a joke and usually tries not to take every little detail too seriously. However, being an assassin forces to act this way when she’s out on an assignment. She has come a rather long way from being a rich Portuguese girl; the typical manners and attitude she was forced to portray quickly vanished when she became part of the Brotherhood at the age of eighteen. Both of her parents came from rich families, however, her father had kept the secret of him being an assassin. She didn’t find out until he had suddenly disappeared and his secret came out. As soon as she entered the brotherhood, she realized how much of a danger being an assassin could be so she distanced herself from her family and friends.

Name: Mya Lei
Age: 29
Sex: Female
Personality: Mya is a skilled assassin and an expert tactician, giving her a high place in the Assassin guild in China, being one of the youngest assassins to take such a high place in the guild. She is well balanced, but also has a strong care for her fellow assassins, placing safety high. Even her smart decisions and plans couldn't last long. Her guild was in desperate need of more assassins and the Templars are continuing to invade China, searching high and low for the Piece of Eden. As of now, she is in charge of defense operations in the Chinese Assassin Guild and is told to hold out until more Assassins arrive into China and help in their search and to defend her land against the Templar invaders.

Other: Director of Defense in the guild. She isn't the best assassin, but she isn't a novice at fighting either.

Name: Gavin Jacksbeard
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Personality and Bio: Gavin was just an average guy from England. He was a bit of a scientific/computer prodigy, even from a young age, and was eventually accepted into Oxford under Scholarship. There, he started delving into ideas behind the mind and the concepts of memory. It was then that he came across an interesting theory... the idea of memories being passed down through genetic DNA. He started to research the concept and before he knew it, he had 'accidentally' hacked into Abstergo's computer records during his hunt, a feat that normally wouldn't be easily accomplished, but Gavin's skills had somehow managed it. After browsing through the classified data, that was the moment that Gavin became a target for Abstergo and the Templars. Thankfully... a mole inside Abstergo was able to get to Gavin first and put him in protective Assassin custody. Now having relocated to America, Gavin helps the Assassins with their latest technological needs, something which he is happy to do as they did indeed save his life and also because it means he can continue with his research and work towards a greater good. Since then, he has also taken necessary Assassin Training to at least not fall behind the others, but he personally prefers to sit by a computer than be out in the field.
Personality wise, Gavin is a witty and sarcastic young man who likes to try and inject good humor and sarcasm into even the worst situations, but don't mistake this defense mechanism for dislike. He's pretty much a decent guy who does have a heart of gold. ...If you can find it.

Sorry, forgot to add Rem in when she posted. You can have either your Modern Assassin or the other one(Mya), but not both. Oh and if you plan on sticking with Mya...shuriken are Japanese weapons, not Chinese.

 

Awesome. One more thing. Katana are Japanese as well. XD Google the "jian" or "Dao" if you want a Chinese sword. Those two were common.
