Meaning and origin Mihael is a Slavic boy name. The meaning of the name is `Who is Like God`.

Then on to Yahoo! answers, where several people asked Mello's nationality. Everyone said that Keehl was a Slovic name

So, we can safely assume that Mello is, indeed, from Slovania.

Then, on to Wikipedia to find this about Slovania: By religion, Slovenes are traditionally largely Roman Catholic (57.8% according to the 2002 Census). According to the most recent Eurobarometer Poll 2005,[7] 37% of Slovenian citizens responded that "they believe there is a god", whereas 46% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force" and 16% that "they do not believe there is any sort of spirit, god, or life force"

So, after much tiring research, Mello is a Slovene Roman Catholic.

But just a tip: He wasn't "officially" born in Slovenia, as Slovenia was part of the former Yugoslavia for much of the years after World War I until 2006.
