I've been playing this addictively for the pass week and I'm loving it. It started out a little dull at first but once I got different weapons and enough money to look like a badass mother****er I was having a blast. Grinding is actually fun in this game since your special attacks get more stylish the higher level they are. Although the bosses later in the game are ****ing brutal >:l Fists, dual swords, and dual pistols are god tier.

You create your own character. I'm pretty sure you partner up with somebody named Ethan halfway through the game though. He had brown hair and a badass white/green jacket.
Yeah I downloaded the demo for it (which is free from the psp store if you have wifi), and I liked that it's still real time even on the psp. Actually the game seems like a remake of Ambition of the Illuminus, but it really belongs better on the psp then it does on the ps2. I think I'll buy the full version next time I'm at the store. And yes, the weapons are badass. xD
