PETA protester gets pied in the face

The only thing that embarrasses me is PETA's ignorance. This story is hilarious, and in my opinion is karma at its best.

 

it's funny, because PETA is known for pieing people in the face as well. I love Karma.

I am so, SO tired of PETA though. They need to quit thier crap.

Ermm, no. Seal culling needs to stop. If PETA are the only ones going to protest about it then so be it. I do agree they that can be annoying at times but I don't see any of you on the streets protesting about the barbaric cruelty that is the baby seal cull.

 

I'm against seal poaching. But the Annual Seal Hunt and seal poaching are two very different things. PETA is protesting the Seal Hunt, and they seem to know no difference between the traditional hunt and poaching. When PETA shows images of people clubbing baby seals, that is not the seal hunt. Those are poachers, or more likely fishermen who think that their catch is threatened by the seal population. There are federal laws against killing baby seals, and killing adult seals in such inhumane ways. And they are well enforced. The Annual Seal Hunt is done very professionally, and much more humanely by using traditional Inuit methods. The Seal Hunt is one of the major sources of income for Inuit populations, and without it they could become more impoverished.
Only poachers support poaching. But PETA needs to learn that throwing pies doesn't solve anything.

 

Agreed, I'm totally against it when people have to use lies and false representation in order to gain sympathy for their campaigns. Even as a vegetarian I don't have much respect for PETA. Plus, PETA isn't the only one that needs to learn that pie throwing doesn't solve anything.

:'D I've written essays on the seal hunt and researched it quite a bit for my politics class, so I do tend to get defensive about it. :sweatdrop:

 

PETA itself isn't bad, I think. There are just the people inside it that take it too far. The people who do the worst acts get the weeks of fame, instead of the people who do the good acts that get a day.

I still laughed that she went back to protesting. I would have gone home and showered quick, or at least tried to catch the guy and give as good as I got.

 

This is true, at first, I was on PETA's side and was against it. But me wanting to know more, researched it. PETA's info is so misguiding it makes the seal hunt look worst then it is. I am for not clubbing baby seals and such, but get the facts right.
