This stuff is more disturbing than anything I've ever seen from a Pokemon game. For all I know, PETA is a group of carnivorous extremists and this is their idea of what the game should be.
The fact that they are also targeting McDonald's makes their argument kind of weird lol. I mean, everybody has at least taken a stab at McDonald's in one way or another...
To be fair, they do have a point with that second paragraph. It's not that I hate the "two versions of the same game" model, but it would seem pretty ridiculous to somebody who's never heard of it before.
Just got back from eating at Carl's Jr. First off, the second paragraph is nonsensical. I doubt Pokémon would even care about the versions of the game. Second, Grimace? He's not a Pokémon nor an animal (at least I don't think he is). GET ON MY LEVEL PETA. Third, does PETA really think that humans would mess with Pokémon if they suddenly show up in the real world? They would fucking destroy us! Earth would become a death world of untold proportions! Fourth, Pokémon doesn't reduce people's empathy for animals. I should know cause I played Pokémon when I was younger and I love animals. I get upset if an animal dies in a movie for god sake! So fack PETA! Fifth, would the Pokémon love us back? Yeah.
