Might as well and maybe since the killer is alway watching what happens after yukkio is recuse he choses someone chose to her as his next target who doesn't have their persona

 

Yeah, that could work, and as I said she might just be in the background working at the inn while Yukiko is on TV, and since she is close to her. Yeah, it really does work. :D

Right, so next matter up for discussion? I mean I'm guessing we must have some things still.

 

So I'm gonna need some help figuring out all this. Haru gets on the news because his past catches up to him in Inaba. His shadow version of him torments him with that he doesn't care about his new friends and suppressing his true feelings about what he did in the past. But I haven't got a clue about the rest.

 

Well, the idea is when the shadow self torments one of our characters (well any of the soon to be Persona users) They say something along the lines of "You're not me!"
By denying the shadow self, it transforms into it's boss form, and the people who already have there persona's have to fight it and defend the real person.
Once it's beaten, generally the real person in some shape of realisation accepts that the shadow really is a a part of them that they didn't want to accept.
And yeah, that's how they get their Persona.

 

Right, okay. I think everything will be a lot clearer when we get started. But so they get on the midnight channel by first being on the news, correct?

 

The person who getting the Persona is featured in the news than they disappear into the TV, which than creates the Midnight Channel after the person has been in there for a while.

 

Correct after that they dissapear and show up on thge midnight channel

 

Yeah, the murderer notices them on the news, and chooses to throw them in (we don't need to act the throwing in part out as we never see it in game)
That person will appear on the midnight channel in a blurry image before they are thrown in. That's when they've been chosen.
Once they have been thrown in, the midnight channel will show some sort of game-show-esque like TV show, where you will see the shadow-self of the person who has been thrown in is basically playing the game.

You'll see a few examples before you have to do your one anyway, so that should help :)

 

And they'd be on the news for something they did wouldn't they?

No, usually they're on the news due to a report or something. Like Kanji with the biker gang's, Yukiko and the inn, or Rise with her stardom.

 

It can be anything.
Generally the people who first got thrown into the midnight channel died. Then the team started to save the victims after that.
Yukiko appeared on the news because she is the one who will inherit the Amagi inn.
Kanji got into a big fight with a biker gang and was on the news for that etc.
So it's okay with whatever really.

 

Okay, that clears it up, I was uncertain....

So about the game show where the shadow version of them is playing??

 

It's ususally something they don't want people to know or a dark secret.

 

Thats in the TV world. Basically inside the midnight channel. For example:
Yukiko's was a dating show type thing, for her to find her prince/knight who would come to save her.
basically... because she had a problem of wanting someone to come and save her from the pressures of her life, someone who would help her run away., that's why her show was like that.

 

Mhmm, does anyone have an idea for Haru's show? I'm coming up blank.

 

That littery depends on the victum inner feeling like kanji was confused, Rise wanted to show her true self, and Yukkio hated working at the inn

 

Hmm, how about one of those: 'Whodunnit?' type game shows.
Where the contestant has to choose who committed the crime etc.
I mean even if he didn't commit the crime that's following him, he's trying to hide it, so that could work well for his show.

Um... not much else really, once you know how your character is getting thrown in, what it's gonna be like etc
and then they get their Persona, thats pretty much it.
You can focus on how your dude will then contribute to the team, and also, yeah I presume all our guys will become friends being on the same team etc (well... when they join) but you can think about what the relationships (or as the game called it -Social Links-) between your character and others will be like.
Like if he'll get on better with some others etc. Or tease some others.
For example, Chie and Yusuke are friends yeah, but they sort of act like they fight a lot etc. Meanwhile, Yukiko and Chie are best friends.
Think about things like that.

 

Yup, Sakura will be friendly with everyone and go through the regular mood-swings and such.
