Persona: New Awakening

"Thank you." Sakura said, stepping into his room and looking around. She sat on his bed.

 

Hattori sat down in his desk chair and set his sketchbook on the desk.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

 

"Well, I guess you know that this isn't a normal club. The members here all the same power, Persona, though each of us awakened this power. Mine awoke when the shadows attacked me and the man who rapped me. I don't know about the others, but somehow Ms. Mitsuru Kirjo also witnessed these events and asked us to join. So, how did yours awake?" She asked.

 

"Mine awoke when I saw my little sister being killed by the shadows. I had been taking her home from a birthday party and we got caught out in the dark hour. Even though that was five months ago, the image still haunts me. My parents ended up moving, abandoning me here as they blamed me for her death."

 

"Well, now is the time to avenge her, I suppose. We explore a place called Tartarus every night during the Dark Hour to fight the shadows. Leila can anaylze the shadows' weakness. I can't explain it, but you can ask Leila."

 

"Sounds good to me." Hattori said before looking into her eyes.

"I feel like you're one of the few people I can actually trust, Sakura. Ever since I was left here by my parents, I've had a hard time trusting people."

 

"I came here because Ms. Kirjo said she would help me through this ordeal. My parents know that I'm in good hands and we email each other once in a while." Sakura smiled and rubbed her stomach. "I don't do much because everyone's worried about my condition."

 

"I'll make sure you stay safe. I don't know why, but I don't think I could stand to see anything happen to you."

 

"Thank you, Hattori. I really accept that."

 

"I guess now I need a weapon. How do you guys call out your persona, anyway? I won't be much use to anyone if I can't bring mine out."

 

"We use this thing called an Evoker. It's shaped like a gun and well....." Sakura demonstrated by making the shape of a gun with her hand and putting next to her head. Then she acted as though she shot herself in the head.

 

"As long as it doesn't actually fire bullets when you pull the trigger, then it'll be fine. I suppose I'll get mine the next time we go exploring."

 

"Alright then" Arthur replied getting up not expecting for the other to agree so quickly or to even get a 'yes'. Heading out towards the door the senior led Terri outside as the two left the building. It was a rather nice sunny day and that made it a bit harder to accept that at midnight the town turned into something sinister and dark. "I guess we can take the train to Pawollina Mall unless you had somewhere in mind. I myself wanted to visit Iwatodai Station. ." He paused not wanting to admit his reason for going there, in his own private time he actually enjoyed reading and became lost in the world of books. Of course that was something he kept to himself.

 

Sakura nodded and sighed, "I'm really hoping that when the baby is born, I can handle it." She looked at it and looked away. "Not many people take kindly to this kind of thing."

 

"Maybe before all is said and done, you won't have to handle it alone." Hattori said before he heard his phone ring. He reached over and silenced it.

 

Sakura smiled and nodded, "I could show you around school tomorrow."

 

"I'd like that. I know a little bit of it, but just the direct routes to my classes."

 

Sakura stood up, "Well, I'd better go. My room's on the third room, near the end of the hall to the left."

 

"Alright. If you need anything, you know where to find me." Hattori said as he grabbed his sketchbook.
