Persona: New Awakening

Arthur followed after holding the gun like evoker still wondering if he could summon his power with ease as Leila did. He let out a sigh and then he entered the first floor of Tarturus with the group. The place was dark as blood oozed from the tall walls that surrounded them. Growls and snarls we're heard and already the young man felt observed by someone else. The Shadows he reasoned though in the darkness, it was both an advantage and disadvantage. They could be attacked without warning, yet they could have an upper hand if it came down to that.

 

Terri's eyes looked around the floor they were in, her eyes narrowing a little as she heard the sounds of shadows around them. Oh God... She slowly unsheathed her weapon and stood closely behind Arthur and Holden, slightly squeezing the hilt of the sword. The floor was tiled and the walls were an eerie green with blood dripping from them. I thought it would have looked completely different. She tilted her head slightly and looked over Holden's and Arthur's shoulders, seeing a way to turn to their left. She could already hear the growls of a Shadow close by, but she felt a bit hesitant to even do anything. After all, Holden was the leader.

"Can everyone hear me?"

Terri raised her brows and looked around the area, hearing Leila's voice. "Leila?" she quietly said, perking an eyebrow as she looked at the others, wondering if they were able to hear her.

 

So this is what she meant when she said she'd be providing us support Allen thought hearing Leila voice along with the growling of the shadow. They all sound like they were ready to attack. Hearing Holden he loosend his grip on his weapon. It probadly won't take them long to show up if the this ansty.

 

"I hear you" replied Arthur as he stayed closely with the advancing group as the maze like floors twisted and bent, the sound of the growling only increased as they walked. Inside the floors of Tarturus, the atmosphere seemed to change as well yet somehow the young man felt as if was being watched or followed. Clutching into the evoker he briefly glanced behind him and the green eyes met a black blob like creature with glowing red eyes not far from them. "We're. .being followed" he said breaking the silence.

 

"There are multiple Shadows on that floor so be very caution. Pay attention to your surroundings."

Terri slowly reached for her Evoker, turning to look over her shoulder to see a Shadow following after them. They follow you?! She bit down on her lip lightly and looked towards Holden and the others, wondering if running away or fighting it would be a good idea. Then again, they were here to fight. She didn't want to make any quick decisions herself, but kept her hands tight on her weapons and carefully watched the Shadow.

"There is a Shadow behind you! Strike first!"

 

"They can kill you, Holden, so please be careful."

Terri turned around and squeezed the hilt of her sword, ready to swing it at the Shadow before she noticed Holden in front of it. Stopping herself, she looked around, hearing more growls of different Shadows around the floor. Just how many are there? Terri took in a deep breath and closed her eyes momentarily.

"There is another Shadow behind you!"

Terri's eyes shot open, quickly turning on her heels to see a pink and black Shadow flying just above them. Its growl echoed throughout the hallway, quickly heading towards the group. Terri squeezed her Evoker tightly, lifting it and pointing it to her head. She closed her eyes tightly and took in a deep breath, momentarily hesitating to pull the trigger. "Hariti!" she shouted as she pulled the trigger, her Persona appearing just behind her. It raised the golden pouch it held, causing ice to fall onto the Shadow, defeating it quickly.

 

"Dammit we're surrounded!" Arthur growled as large group of the creatures blocked both ways in the hall. They seemed to move rather quickly and so he figured attacking it with his weapon wouldn't do much. His hand went towards the evoker as a sudden chill went through his spin. His green eyes narrowed not liking this sudden fear as he was normally a calm person who saw things through. Taking out the evoker he placed it towards his forehead and after a moment of hesitation pulled the trigger. "Persona!!" Arthur cried as what looked like shattered blue glass scattered around him, taking the form of a large black dragon. A sudden whirlwind was created as the dragon roared, moving its wings. The entire group of shadows were attacked but not defeated. "I think they're weaker now!" he called.

 

Cool. Allen thought seeing Terri and Aruthur summon their persona's. I wonder what mine looks like. He griped his evoker and pointed it to his head. Focus. He thought repeately as his pulled the trigger and his persona came forth. It raised it's hand and smashed the remaining shadow with the coffins on it's arm. "I guess that take care of that" He said as his persona dissapearalong with the shadows.

 

"Excellent job, Allen."

Terri let out a sigh of relief and looked around, hearing distant growls on the floor. They sound like they're rather far away. They were distant, but they also sounded as though there wasn't very many Shadows left. She looked down at her Evoker momentarily before putting it back into its holster. She assumed it really only took a single hit to destroy a Shadow, but what just had happened proved her a bit wrong.

"You don't have very long so please continue exploring this floor. Please also be aware when an enemy is knocked down, you can perform an All-Out-Attack. If you encounter another Shadow, I will explain."

 

OOC: Wow... no one's posted here for a while. So random post of relevance ahoy!

Haruka made it back and opened the door to be greeted by the sight of a coffin..
Right... once things turn back to normal... I think me and Kurosawa are in need of a serious chat... I mean... I know this isn't normal...
...I wonder if this is linked to my lost past somehow... Some sort of connection must be between this and the school... and me...
At least... this is what she assumed.

 

With a blue aura the dragon Persona Seth disappeared as soon as the battle was over with. It wasn't anything like Arthur had expected it to be, but he had to admit that there was a sudden thrill from the fight. The Shadows around still growled though it was a bit less, perhaps they knew that there was danger lurking. "The path seems to go on for a while. .should we continue going forward until we find the staircase then?" the blond asked Terri seeing as he was the leader of the group.

 

Terri opened her mouth to speak, but quickly closed it when Holden spoke out. She nodded her head in response and looked towards Arthur. "We don't have a lot of time left," she told him, speaking loud enough for the others to hear as well. She's been in Tartarus before, but just up to the entrance of the tower. And seeing as how this was her first time actually fighting, she was already beginning to feel a little tired. She sighed out quietly and followed after Holden.

 

Approaching closer to the eerie tower that stood where his school once was, Vincent looked skyward to get a better look at the tower's bizarre construction. It surely wasn't something of this world considering how odd and otherworldly it looked. As he got closer and closer to the tower, he started to see what appeared to be a woman in the distance standing in front of the entrance of the tower. Getting closer to see who it was, he saw that it was no ordinary woman. While her upper body was the body of the woman, the lower part of her body instead of having legs was replaced with an transparent glass orb and inside of that orb was a girl, a girl who appeared to be the same age as Vincent. That girl has to know something about what's going on. Sneaking up behind the woman, he poked at the glass and asked, "Who are you?"

 

Leila, who had her eyes closed at the time to concentrate Lucia's power, slowly opened them as she felt a presence nearby. It can't be. She narrowed her eyes as she continued to concentrate on the group that was inside Tartarus. Can it? She closed her eyes once more, wanting to concentrate a little harder, but her eyes quickly shot open, hearing someone tap on the class and hear that person speak. She turned her head slightly, seeing Vincent just next to her. Another Persona user?! Refusing to dismiss Lucia just yet, Leila lowered her head and closed her eyes, returning her attention to Holden and the others.

"Return to the entrance immediately! Avoid all Shadows and look for an Access Point!"

A lightly came from Lucia suddenly, Leila gently landing on her feet as she dismissed her Persona. She eyed Vincent for a moment, surprised he wasn't attacked by Shadows just yet. "How long have you been awake?"

Arthur followed after Terri and Holden as the group avoided being seen by the Shadows as Leila had ordered. The longer they stayed and explored Tarturus, the more dense the atmosphere turned making it a a bit harder to continue. "Ah. .yeah we only have an hour here huh?" he replied as the Shadows growls continued to echo the many halls. The blond figured the access point looked the same as the one at the entrance of Tatrutus, and so his green gaze wandered about trying to see any sign of the bright neon glow.
