Persona: New Awakening

Leila smiled back at Holden and tilted her head a little as she squeezed his hand gently. "Um..." She bit down on her lip a little harder as she thought on the question. "I guess it does," she muttered quietly, looking up at Holden. She pulled her hand away from his and lowered her gaze, tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear before clasping her hands behind her back. "Do you...want to be...?"

 

Leila perked an eyebrow and cocked her head to the side a bit, staring quietly at Holden. "I hope it is schoolwork," she quietly said before nodding her head at him. "Just rest up for a bit. Tonight we're going to Tartarus since Haruka joined." She smiled back at Holden before lowering her head and taking a step back, sitting down on the armrest of the couch. "I'll see you later then. Meet down here twenty minutes before the Dark Hour begins."

OOC: Judging by the looks of things, I'm assuming everyone is ready for some action in Tartarus, yes? Everyone ready for time skipping?

 

Hattori got his axe out and sharpened it. He wanted to be prepared to go into Tartarus tonight.

ooc: ready when you are.

 

OOC: Me too.


Suddenly a small shriek could be heard from Haruka's room as a box fell on top of her.
Followed by a mumbled. "I'm okay!"

 

OOC: Late reply is late. <<; Been distracted, so sorry about that.

May 24, 2020, Sunday. Evening, everyone should be making their way to the Command Room.

BIC:

Leila quietly in one of the chairs in the Command Room, her eyes staring down at the table before looking towards the clock above the entrance. We'll be leaving soon. She sat back on her chair and crossed her arms around her stomach, sighing lowly as she momentarily looked at Terri, who was already sitting in the Command Room waiting for the others. They didn't speak much and even if they did, most of their conversation consisted of the Dark Hour, Tartarus and the Shadows. Averting her gaze, Leila realized she didn't really speak to any of the other members of SEES. Only one she grew close with was Holden. She bit down on her bottom lip and shifted slightly in her seat, lowering her gaze as she awaited the others.

 

Hattori yawned as he walked into the command room. He felt like he was dozing off as he sat down, so he slapped himself awake.

I gotta get more sleep. He thought to himself.

 

Haruka walked into the command room also,
she stretched and then sat down next to Terri, winking at Leila in a friendly way.
The girl seemed to be lost in thought... well, no wonder. She and Holden had gotten a lot closer earlier as Haruka could easily tell.

 

I wonder how late I am. Allen thought as he walked into the command room. Grabbing a seat, he began to wonder wait Leila had to say.

 

Leila looked up and watched as the rest came in. She noticed Haruka's wink and perked an eyebrow before quickly looking away and scratching the back of her head. Did she see...earlier? Clearing her throat, she rose up to her feet as soon as Holden stepped in and looked at the group. "Well, I hope everyone is ready. We're heading to Tartarus," she said before looking towards Haruka. "You've been experiencing Tartarus for quite some time now...You haven't seen it, right?"

 

"Well, yeah.If you mean the Dark Hour... Without my memories, I used to think it was a normal thing it happened so often. It wasn't until later the I realised that I was one of the only people experiencing it." Haruka answered...
"As for the school changing, I had no idea... which is stupid if you think about it. Considering it's the place I woke up at way back when, I should have realised a connection straight away."

 

"So how far are we going tonight?" Hattori asked as he stood up, hefting his axe over his shoulder.

 

Leila smiled softly and nodded her head in response to Haruka before looking at Hattori. "As far as you guys can go. Lets get going." She motioned for the group to follow as she walked out of the Command Room, heading down the staircases and to the lobby. Once she was out of the dorm, Leila's eyes scanned the area, seeing it still wasn't the Dark Hour. I'd want Haruka to see the school change. Expecting the group to be following her, she continued forward as she gazed ahead to see the monorails.

OOC: Short, but yeah. << Kind of wanted to speed things up.

Leila stopped in front of the school gates and crossed her arms, leaning her head back as she looked up at Gekkoukan High. Soon after, the streetlights turned off and everything turned to an eerie green atmosphere. Puddles of blood appeared on the floor and the few people that were around had suddenly changed into coffins. Leila's eyes stayed on Gekkoukan High as it changed, different parts of it sticking out as it twisted and turned, shooting further up the sky. Once it was over, Leila slowly turned around and faced the group. "Everyone ready?"

 

Haruka had experienced the Dark Hour many times before, but she had never seen anything like this.
She looked on with a weird expression. Unreadable...
Is this the missing link to my past?
How could she have missed it all this time. Her fist tightened as she shook visibly for a few seconds and then shook her head with a look of determination. "Right, let's kick some butt!" she smirked.
