Persona: New Awakening

OOC: Okay, seeing as how I literally have little to no patience, we're time skipping.

May 22, 2020, Friday. Full moon. Everyone must be up in the Command Room. Currently the Dark Hour.

BIC:

Leila's eyes were closed while her head was down as she stood inside Lucia. Her Persona stood in a large space in the Command Room, searching for the Shadow the group was warned about. Leila's eyes slowly opened as she raised her head. "I found it," she quietly said, her voice slightly echoing from being inside Lucia. She lowered her head once more and tilted her head slightly, her eyes narrowing as she found the location it was in. "It's by the monorails. Something seems off though."

 

Haruka had been travelling back from work when that strange time hit...
shutting down all electricity... and stopping the monorail she was riding at the time.
"Oh just great...
I can't even listen to my I-pod while I wait."
She picked up a newspaper and tried to read it in the greenish glow of the moonlight...
she looked outside through the window.
The full-moon is creepy when it's green...
she shuddered... it was like the sight itself was resonating with her.
She looked down at the newspaper, not deterred by the coffins surrounding her.
"Apathy Syndrome is on the rise..." she read allowed.
"We already know that..." she sighed, dropping the paper next to her, and proceeding to wait.

 

Allen sat their in the command room, waiting for any word on the shadow that was due to show up today. Now that we know where it is, all we need now is a plan. He thought hearing the location of the shadow.

 

Hattori sat against the wall of the command room, sharpening his axe. He had a look in his eyes that said he was eager for action. I can't wait to test out my persona to it's fullest. He thought to himself as he continued to prepare his weapon.

 

Hattori stood up and followed Holden out of the command room. He hoisted his battle axe over his shoulder as he walked. He adjusted his evoker holster with his other hand as he walked along, ready to fight.

 

Leila opened her mouth to speak but quickly dismissed Lucia when Holden walked out. "Holden, wait!" she shouted, but groaned lowly when he was already out the door. "Come on everyone. I'll explain everything when we get there." Expecting the others to follow, Leila ran out of the Command Room and followed after Holden. Once she caught up to him, she lightly grabbed his arm and tugging gently at it before letting go of him. "Why'd you just walk out? I wasn't done talking."

Terri tilted her head and slowly rose to her feet when Holden left, looking back at Leila as she wondered if she'd follow after him. Her lips parted as she thought of asking the question, but Leila's actions already gave the girl an answer. Brushing her hand against her Evoker, Terri looked down at the gun-like object before quickly following after Leila.

 

Seeing everyone else walk out, he got out and followed behind them. On the way out, he grab his scythe and strapped it to his back.

 

Arthur had arrived at the Command Room as instructed by Leila, he wondered what the meeting was for as they had one a few nights ago. The sudden revelation that there was a Shadow attacking the monorail system surprised him, the blond figured that the Shadows would never step foot outside of Tarturus. He watched Holden run off with Leila and the rest, Arthur walked on over to take his rapier and Evoker now quickly following after them. Whatever this Shadow was, the young man had a feeling that it wouldn't be like the ones they had normally fought in the tower.

 

Sakura quietly followed everyone, the holster with her Evoker dangled at her side while the sheath of her chain-linked daggers hung at her hip. She sighed and decided during the mission she would fight. Feeling a kick, she rubbed her stomach and continued to follow the others.

 

Leila sighed lowly and looked over her shoulder to see the others following. "Well...I felt the Shadow by the monorails but something didn't seem right," she said, just loud enough for those that were behind her and Holden to hear. "I felt the presence of a human inside the monorails. Either that's Haruka or someone else. I'm not quite sure since I didn't have enough time to see who the person was. But there was also something else. Before you guys head in, I'll scan the area once more just to be sure about all of this." Leila picked up her pace a little as she saw the group's destination approaching. "I want all of you to be careful."

 

"I hope that there's not anyone on the monorail, or things will get really complicated." Hattori said as he pulled his evoker from its holster and spun it around on his finger. "Things are far too quiet here. Feels like we're walking into an ambush or something."

 

Haruka heard a noise...
Which was odd...
During this time, as far as she was aware... there shouldn't be anyone or anything around.
Everyone was in coffins after all...
She had a bad feeling... a really bad feeling... this time period certainly was never normal... but now that something other than her was here...
some sort of instinct screamed at her that something bad was coming.
That's why, she resorted to her final measure...
Kurosawa had entrusted her with two small weapons.
They were special custom made Knuckle Daggers, That she could hold onto and wield like Knuckle Dusters... but they had bladed edges, that curved outwards.
A weapon she was proficient with, being a close ranged and skilled fighter.
She had thought it odd when Kurosawa had given them to her, and told her never to use them... but that if she would ever need to use them, that she would know the time, and now... she could see why...
Kurosawa had known about this time period after all... and that there could and would be dangers with it.
Somehow, she had the feeling that this wasn't the first time he had entrusted someone her age with a weapon either, ...he knew what he was doing... she couldn't know why he hadn't told her about it before, especially when she had asked him directly.
But that wasn't important any more...
She took the weapons from a special pouch in her bag, and gripped them... her fingers in the right holes as she felt the feeling of leather and cold metal in her hands.
Something was close... and she couldn't let herself be defenceless.




OOC: Again, to clarify, these weapons look like the Knuckle Daggers that Asuma uses in Naruto.

I know it's a small image, but you get the idea lol

 

Hattori holstered his evoker and looked at Sakura. "You should stick close to me, Sakura. I don't want you getting hurt." He said before looking over at Leila. "So which car are you sensing the human presence from?"

 

Leila picked up her pace and walked a little ahead of the group. She turned her attention towards the monorail as she eyes narrowed, hearing Hattori's comment about an ambush. That's not likely...is it? She reached for her Evoker and raised it before pointing it to her temple. Opening her mouth to say her Perona's name, she stopped herself as she lowered the Evoker a little away from her head, hearing multiple growls and snarls approaching the group. Turning her head, Leila saw multiple Shadows coming towards her and the others. "We're under attack!"

Terri tightened her grip on her sword as she kept her Evoker in her other hand. She never thought they'd end up being attacked, and when she saw the Shadows, she cursed under her breath and spun around, seeing more Shadows approaching the group from behind.

OOC: Shadows that are attacking the group.

 

"Leave it to me to be prophetic..." Hattori muttered as he swung his axe in a wide arc at the shadows. He fought defensively as he backed up closer to the others.

 

Crap. Allen thought seeing the shadows around them. He grabbed his scythe off of his back and got it ready for an attack. It wasn't long before one of them lunge at him and it was meet with the blade of his scythe causing it to vanish.
