Sony Persona 4: The Golden

Aw lame, it's not even gonna a total Persona-fest. It's just P3 vs P4. Oh well, at least it's definitely coming to consoles. Japanese have this *******-ish tease they do where they tend to push out epic arcade games and get vague on whether it'll be ported to consoles. Or maybe just Capcom are *******s. Yeah, probably just Capcom. I'll still await a MitsuruxYukiko makeout ending though.

 

....Oh Son of a -beep- Now, the japanese are practically making me want to buy a Vita unless I do what every guy does, wait for youtube upload and save money since I alreayd have plans to buy Bleach on PS3 and Uncharted 3... why must you torture us with such good games Japan!

I really doubt that this game will have a very good story, probably nowhere near as good as the new Mortal Kombat game had.

 

The console version is already confirmed for Summer 2012

 

I will say I'm mentioning the original Tekken and Mortal Kombat which I haven't played since I was 8. I recently played a few rounds of Street Fighter 4 which was much better then I'd played any other type of that game genre before. So yeah, basically I want to know how well the game would cater for amateurs in the genre such as myself, before anything. There aren't that many games that crossover characters from separate stories so I'm willing to give it a go for a bit.

So do they have any vague ideas on when the NA release is? I'd imagine it'd be fall or winter of the same year at the latest.

For the very most part crossover games tend to have terrible stories, though this one might not since all the characters exist in the same world. However, I still doubt that it will have a very good story, it's mostly just cashing in on their most popular games. Prove me wrong, Atlus. I also have my doubts about it being a very easy to play fighting game, that's just not Atlus' style with any genre xD

That's very true on all accounts. But like I said I would keep an open mind and eye about it and just wait to see how it goes.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for ever since I finished Persona 4 a few weeks ago. Sounds like it'll be absolutely amazing. Here's hoping Johnny Yong Bosch reprises his role both as Adachi and the protagonist when this comes to America.

She IS adorable. My first thought at that screen was a gigantic "OHMYGODTHAT'SSOCUUUUUUUTTTTTEEE!!!!!!!!!11!!!1!11ONE!!!!!!!!!!"

As for the fighting game, I like the idea, but they should have waited until after P5 when there would be more characters. Even so, let's hope that it incorporates Social Links in some way, though that's very unlikely given the nature of fighting games.

 

I'm excited for this new game, since I haven't played P4 yet at all (I haven't gotten around it yet) but the fighting game looks fun, a bit like Blaz Blue. And I think they might have "secret" people to use, like all fighting games usually have. So don't rule out a appearance by someone from a different game

Actually, they're adding events in between Christmas and the end date because that time skip bugged a lot of people. There's also going to a Social Link with Adachi, representing a new Arcana, Lust.

There are three endings. The good ending, the bad ending, and the true ending. It's anyone's guess which is the real one, though.
