Aegis is back with bigger guns it seems.

 

Kind of wanted this for the 3DS but looks like I'll have to get a Vita now. Disgaea 3 Returns and Uncharted are also looking great and there are a few more titles I like. I wonder if the other social links will have voice actors? Also Kana Hanazawa as Mary/Marie is pretty awesome.

The Fighting game also sounds interesting, I'll be sure to keep a close eye on it during TGS. I'd main Chie as long as they keep her galactic punt.

Actually I think it would have been better if this was Persona 5 instead of another Persona 4.

 

I hope the fighting game turns out to be a good one and not just "Oh hey these guys are gonna waltz around all slow like and maybe do stuff". Although if anything, this'll probably play like the Jojo's Bizarre adventure games. Minus Dio's Streamroller.

Yeah, I still don't get why it was a Persona fighting game and not an all-out Megaten cross-over. I'd love to see Yukiko and Mitsuru stab each other in the face while Raidou calmly observes like a boss. Or make out. Or just P5. I'd imagine what with two Persona games on the PS2 that did well, they'd want to capitalize on the 5th. Either they've been secretly working towards making a badass new engine for this gen that'll create an insane game or they're stalling by rereleasing the older games so that when P5 is announced they'll not only have a larger fan-base, but it'll also create enough want for the new game.

 

They've stated that they're "ready to start P5". They've already got the engine as they claimed that the whole point of Catherine was to test the engine for future games.
They're probably just milking P4 as much as possible as the P3 cow is pretty dry now.
Once theirs no more money to be made from P4 we can probably expect P5 in 2013

Anyway, this is making it harder to decide to buy a 3DS or a PSV, damn...
Still good to here about Persona 4 re-release, the 2D fighting game is an interesting concept but i'll wait till I hear more about it till I think about more of it.

... I really didn't want to buy the Vita, but now I think I have to >> Goddamn Japanese people putting their great games on handhelds.

Unlike P3P this actually looks a lot better than the original, so I'll definitely have to get it I think. I like the new character, I really want to start a social link with her if you know what I mean. I'll be following this pretty closely I think, I'm intriuged as to what they'll be adding.

Wat. They did not milk the P3 cow as much as the P4 one? Trinity Soul's only sign of popularity was that it was set ten years after Persona 3, then there were the games, Persona 3, Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 PSP. With P4 there's Persona 4, Persona 4 Animation and Persona 4: The Golden now. How is that milking it more? Persona 3 was rereleased two times!

This game just became a must-buy for everyone. The only flaw that the original had was that the bath scene wasn't animated. the crossdressing scene as well

The one I'm more interested about is the fighting game though, I'm wondering how that will work, if all attacks will have to rely on the persona and such, I can see it's not constantly out from those screen shots and it would look a bit weird if it constantly had to pop out. It's Atlus though, so I'm just gonna assume they know what they're doing.

 

I don't like fighting games. But I may give it a shot. I was honestly expecting some sort of RPG for the PS3, I am sick of having it there and not being able to play RPG's that I may like. Aigis is the only thing that interests me from the game coming for the PS3.

But they're going to start Persona 5, that's definitely good enough.

 

Oh god, stop with the constant sreen images. I'm salivating over my keyboard. I'm not into fighting games either, never got on with Tekken or Mortal Kombat or their ilk, but this is surely something i'd take an interest in. The fact it sounds like it will have a story plot is enough.
