I used to have a 30 Cleric, but I quit after a few weeks.
Nobody I knew played it, and half the reason I play an MMO is for the community.

Perfect world is a mmorpg thats filled with your usual classes as: Elf, Human, Tideborn, and Untamed. You got your archer, cleric, assassin, psychic, venomancer (pet tamer) and a barbarian (tank), wizards and blademasters.

You run dungeon and missions till your level 60, then you just run dungeons till you hit 100.

This is a photo of a venomancer in battle mode.
This is a level 10 assassin PVPing. (player vs player)

We have territory Wars against other guilds and events where you can win cool prizes. It's all free but if you want the cool stuff you gotta pay money for it.

Actually a member of this forum introduced me to it and we played for a bit. I had issues my very first time playing because I was on the wrong server from her. I had a lvl 32 cleric but she was a fail. And then I made another cleric and met a wonderful guild who took me in and was basically my family. Till I met my finacee and all his friends we left that guild and started our own.

We moved from PWI tho to the private serves Devastation.

    As are most MMOs,
It's like getting a free ice cream, but you have to pay extra for toppings.
I just enjoy the fact I got a free Ice cream...
Dammit, I want Ice cream now...

I was debating playing this again, but my friends are trying to convince me to join Fiesta and WoW

Hmm... It looks interesting. My only problem with the "Pay to get better stuff," is that if you spend money, you will get good. You can be as good a player as you want, but if you don't spend money, you'll never get elite level.

I may have to give it a look though, after finals.

It honestly depends. You can get your own money and then buy gold at the auction house. Because there are alot of people who can't really afford to play this game. And they get by with what they can get. They enter into events and get prizes and sell and make profit.

You can make do with what you have without spending money. Just have ot be pro with how you do it.

I wish I was still playing it. Unfortunately after the computer messed up my dad wouldn't let me put it on this one. But you'd be amazed at how much I kept remaking my characters. I sent all of my money around so much I gathered close to 500000 coins. The highest character I made was a lv49 Venomancer, and I've also done some with Clerics, Archers, Blademasters, and a Theif. I think I liked the Theif the most, since it had nice evasion stats, but I never got far.
I always went back and forth between MMOs trying to find the right one. There was always this, Shaiya, and a bunch of other AeriaGames and GPotato stuff.

Actually they have DQ Points (Dragon Quest points, the items mobs drop and you sell you get points from) you can buy makeover scrolls and everything without spending money. I got random dyes from my DQ points and it was nice.

    My dad was the same way. I had it on my desktop and my laptop, but when you share a laptop with 3 other kids and have no working Ethernet cable to use on the desktop you kinda have hardrive issues. :/ So my dad wouldn't let me download it again on our new laptop and I was so upset. ;-;

I only did the DQ quests so often. It was such a pain to get the items, and even though you got plenty of exp from it, if you needed money those items were your best shot. But if you needed rep as well, you definately could've done the DQ stuff. Do you still play the game? Or do you do a different MMO?

I did the quest, I actually did almost all the quest on my cleric. I wanted to level her so bad I did everything. But it's just the random items mobs drop I learned. If you farmed enough you could get really cool things off the DQ store.

Currently I'm inactive. I played the PVP private server for a long time. When you go to a PVE to a PVP it's amazing. I love it.

I try to stay away from PVP. I like playing with people, not against. Not too mention, doing PVP has some annoying consequences when you end up dying

Well it really depends. Like every once in awhile I dueled against faction members, and had my fun with them. And then I'd PVP with a group of people either friends or faction members. Since I am a cleric I had to have someone with me when I PKed. And I had so gear and stuff in general I couldn't lose.
Thats what the safety locks for. And I was red named. Dx

I always wanted to take part in a territory battle, but I could never get strong enough. And then that one faction took over basically the entire map, what was the name? Genesis? I can't remember, it was a while ago. What happens when a faction takes over the entire map? Seems kinda unfair to the other bigger factions

What server did you play on? I played on Dreamweaver, and QQme was the faction that took over the whole map till Genesis came out, suddenly all these new factions came about and took control over parts of the map. It was nice seeing different factions on the map but eh.
I too wanted to participate in a TW but I was never in the right faction, and the faction I was in I left. They talked about TW but never did it.

It was unfair to a lot of us. :/ It wasn't till I hit my 70s did I see and want a lot of other things in the game. I wanted to experience everything but since I wasn't a decent level with great gear I couldn't do what I wanted. :|

I don't remember, but if my memory isn't that bad, I think I was on Dreamweaver as well.
And I was in quite a few factions, even made my own, but they never stayed active, so I couldn't ever find a good one. The one I made I left to a friend, so I have no idea if it even is still around.
You know, if I ever started playing again, would you get on? I always try to play with other people I know, since it makes it more interesting

I thought so. Cause what you were saying about TW and the one big faction that covered the whole map and stuff made sense to me.
I was in a few factions myself and made one with my boyfriend. We didn't get far because it wasn't so active also, and we handed it off to a friend also.
Yes! :D I'd love to play with you, it is so much better playing with friends, it truly is. I just need internet and I'll start playing again. And hopefully by my birthday I can get a laptop so I can play and so with it whatever I please (and don't have to share).

yeah, I wish I could play it again. I think I'd probably go with a Tideborn, because like I said, I like having people with good evasion, and they're direct attackers, and they're attacks don't get halved like the archers do when the enemies are closer. Even though I always stop every now and then, I always seem to go back. I guess with it being the first MMO I played, as well as it being a good game, I can't get away from it

I was the same way at first. When I first started out I didn't play long and I forgot my account and everything. Then came back and was like "Oh hey I've played this before" and I played for a summer and met some cool people. Then I quit and then came back for a long time and yeah.
I'm going back and leveling my assassin, I love the slick and stealth moves they have and also for the evasion like you mention before.
