I read a bit more on a different site, there were razors all over the place, not just on monkey bars. High up and low. They found twelve of them. It would of been possible for the baby to reach out on a pole and get cut. The baby was taken to the hospital and is recovering at home.

Yea I know. You would usually see a bunch of blood coming from a single area. Not saying this is real. I just have been seeing a lot of fake news on Facebook lately.

    Aye, that it has.
The bad outweighs the good a lot of the time which leads people to cynicism.

no what leads people to cynicism is focusing on the bad and ignoring the good.

and i would def put ponies in that grey area that future generations will either praise or condemn.

Well when there are so many bad things it's easy to lose focus of the few good things. Don't get me wrong, every now and then I find something good and latch on to it. It's one of the few reasons I'm able to keep some bit of faith in humanity. I'm just less inclined to believe someone I know nothing about is one of the good people out there. Hell, I'm not even one of the good people -I'd like to ironically blame that on the cynicism. Sometimes good apples get thrown in with the bad ones. It happens.

I'd put a lot of things in that grey area.

It's easy to point to the most recent petty crime and say, "SEE! SEE! THIS IS WHY HUMANITY IS BAD; TO SAVE IT WE MUST DESTROY IT!" meanwhile petty acts of kindness are happening all around you. Without getting on my soapbox, the media has conditioned us to be cynical and is constantly focusing on the bad, so it's no surprise it's easier to notice. Hell, even knowing this it can be hard to see good. Sometimes it takes practice to see all the good and kindness if you're not naturally inclined to, but that doesn't mean it's not happening. I won't sugarcoat it, there is a lot of bad. There may even be more bad. I don't know. But that's not what matters, what matters is the potential for good and the inherent desire in most people to act on this potential, so for someone to say they've "lost their faith in humanity" I have to ask why, because it's not as if that potential is gone. I get that it's a joke but it's a little off-putting to see people declaring something like that, even in jest, because it shows how in tune they are to bad and not good. If you're trying to find bad, guess what, you're going to find it. And I am in no means advocating unchecked optimism, imo that's as bad as cynicism, but if good goes unnoticed, yeah, the bad will outweigh the good.

Oh no, I don't watch the news. I'd have absolutely no faith in humanity left if I did. I don't tend to focus on petty crimes though. Murder, sexual assault, manslaughter, are a few of the things I tend to focus on. I don't pay attention petty theft or jaywalking.

I look out for the good things in life, I just don't have a lot of luck in finding them.

I find it hard to believe that humans have an inherent desire to be good. It's much easier to live by the 'take what you want' kind of lifestyle. That's the problem with the majority of people these days, not wanting to work for what they get.

I said I still have some faith in humanity, just not that much. I'm not the type to have a whole lot of faith. I'm more inclined to believe in results, statistics, and physical objects. Let's just say what little faith I have in humanity should be seen as nothing short of a miracle. I definitely wasn't joking about it.

It's not that I try to find the bad out there. I just happen to witness it.
