People Disgust Me

Someone shared this on Facebook, and I just need to vent, sort of. To torture a kid like this is just inexcusable!

I'm not exactly sure what happened. It looks like they made the kid play on dangerous equipment, but whatever happened to the kid was abuse, which I am very much against:

I saw that. Not sure if it was real or not because I don't see a cut anywhere on his hand.

 

Manslaughter is when you accidentally kill a person, whoever wrote that clearly doesn't understand that.

 

The thing about razor blades is that when they're never been used new, they make really fine cuts. The blade is that sharp. And you probably cannot see the cuts themselves due to the blood. This is really disgusting to begin with.

This. A more convincing looking cut wouldn' t be hard to fake anyway.
All the police reports I found on local news do say his lacerations were minor.

 

Did someone make the child play on the equipment or were the adults there not aware the razors were on the equipment?

Hold on people actually thought it was a good idea to attack kids by putting razor blades on everything on the park? Is this seriously a thing and if so WHY?????

 

Are razor blades age restricted? I feel they should be.

I'm going to be the guy who takes issue with your thread's title.

"People disgust you"? Like, the entirety of the human population? I didn't know that I was being clumped into a minority of people who make such twisted traps as the one in the image, or even that everyone else in the forum was also being clumped into that minority.

 

You know what I mean. :P

 

We're disgusting sometimes. No ones perfect.

 

Those hands look like a babies hand, which means the parent had of at least been holding the baby upnwhile letting him swing about, and if that baby didn't cry awhile getting the cuts (because there are multiply cuts) then that's a sick parent. Just what I see.

 

I hate the human race, in general. We're all psychopaths, it's just some of us have the ability to control the psychopathic tendencies. That's why it's hard for me to feel sorrow -not to be confused with sympathy, I can sympathize with people- for people I don't know. I watch the news all the time and see all these deaths and whatnot. I sympathize with the loss of a human life and the pain their family is probably going through but I don't feel sorrow for them. I sometimes disgust myself for having this view towards the world. I think about how many innocent deaths I see and all I can do is sympathize. Then I'm reminded every now and again why I feel that way.

It's not people who disgust me, it's humankind.

I work retail. My faith in humanity has almost dwindled to nothing. There are people who will willingly throw stuff at me because they think they're being funny. Personally, this hasn't happened to me but I've had people miming that they're going to do it. Which, to a person with anxiety is just as bad as actually doing it. I've read a story of a fellow retail employee having a car battery thrown in their direction. ( It fell short.) I've had people verbally abuse me and touch me without my permission. I've had people slam their canned goods on the belt to "wake me up". [All this does is make me feel nervous and anxious btw. ]

I'm not saying that every single human being is disgusting. I've had regular costumers defend me against bullies. I've had little kids run up and give me hugs because they think I look sad. I've had people tell me I'm their favorite cashier because I'm fast but I'm willing to explain things like coupons.

It just seems like the bad ones out number the good ones on some days.
