I like drawing bodies and a girls is the easiest for me. Tell me what you think? I used an H2 pencil and some darker HB pencils for different tones.

Hahaa i agree! Females are a lot easier to draw. (kinda looks like sailor moon... unless it is, i dunno never watched it...)

Doc, it's very well done!! you have a good grasp of proportions and visual composition. (so i cant critique you there:))
I like how you have her to the side a bit, that gives it better visual composition as a whole.

The only thing that looks a little off is her pelvic area (mostly the hips just look i tad too extreme) and her legs look a little thin closer up...

Its very well done and i love it!! The only other thing i would suggest is probably blend a little more from shade to skin color. it will give it a more natural feel! It seems to me that this was taken from a camera, which is fine, but maybe if you have a scanner, it would help enhance picture since the image is converted from the charge-coupled device (CCD). (Thing that converts things to a respectable digital resolution.)

Other than that, it is well done and deserves a thumbs up!!! Keep up the good work, hope to see some more of your work!

Wow! Very nicely drawn. I can't really draw myself, but I have a strong opinion in art. I really the pose the character is in. It's graceful yet stern. the body and legs are drawn to a fine form. I will admit, she does seem a little long in the center, But nothing serious. Nicely done man! *Two Thumbs way way up!*

I don't really have a scanner on me so I understand that the picture looks a little off. Really it looks better on paper. ^^ And thank you. I've practiced a lot with proportion and composition but I can always learn more with practice. Some critiques may seem harsh but I tend to learn more when someone points out a mistake I may have made.

can I drool over this picture? I love how you did the shading, and the size is in perfect proportion.

    Very nice, Doc, like always.

Who's the female in the picture, if you don't mind my asking?

.....^^;; Drool away...? Hehe Thanks for the complement.

This is a female character from an anime and manga called Ikki Tousen. I forgot her name but she is my favorite character to draw. ^^

Leg proportions are off. Same with her top ect.

Chest should be closer to the waist.

Make the skirt go closer to her waist.

Her body seems awkwardly long to me. And seriously, make her skirt be closer to her waist. Making it coming down like that towards her legs is pretty sl.utty.

Also, make sure you hide the picture well. Wouldn't want your parents finding it. ;>

Try to expand your drawing skills by drawing both human bodies. Not sure if you take drawing seriously, but if you do, do et. Wouldn't want to draw dudes, and have em come out all femaleish lol.

You should try Mai from My-HiME, I think you would do great on that one.

But dang Ferocious, that post certainly lived up to your name. But actually, I've seen things like that in a lot of anime, so it's actually pretty close to what some people do

-Nods- I understand and accept the advice in a positive way instead of a negative way. I can draw both girls and guys but guys tend to be more square and girls more round. I guess it depends. Anyways the anime, which this character is from is very revealing so I'm not surprised if she looks a little more open in body then most. As for parents... well I show them all my art and they seem to like it. Art is fun for me but also a challenge I am a perfectionist in many cases. This picture was drawn in a philosophy class. So it's not really a serious picture.
