Peace Camp

Laughing she playfully hit him, stretching she let out a small groan then a sigh.Cracking her neck and giggled.

"yea weird I know but bah its what makes us who we are now"she said with a smirk as her ears moved around abit.

 

He pretended to be upset, clutching his arm. "Oww owww owwwwwww.... My arm, it's hanging offffffffffff..."

 

Rolling her eyes she laughed and poked him in the side.

"I bet it is don't make me tickle you"Claire said with a smirk.

 

"Ouch! Oh, the agony..." He grabbed his side, grinning his head off all the while. "Quick, someone get an ambulance, she's killin' meeeeeee..."

 

Melissa started getting ready for the hike they were having today, she hated walking. Instead of packing water however, she packed juice boxes.

 

"well im a lone again man im so bored" Kevin said to himself. While he was still in his fox form he left the hall and went by a tree and layed on his side."well time to let my fox body have some sleep before the hike."he thought happily before falling asleep

 

She grabbed her stuff and headed outside

 

Karie , already outside with her backpack, was sitting on a big root under a big tree. She sighed, another impatient wait for her hike-mates.

 

Melissa placed her bag down also, she rumaged through it to find one of her many poppers, they were all warm (for safety reasons) so it wasn't very difficult to start sipping at it.

 

Karie looked around, the counselors heading our hike were all talking and planning on today's trip. She saw Melissa, quite a distance from where she was. Playing with her could eat up my time... she thought with a sneaky smile. She grabbed her bag, hanging it over on her shoulder and walked towards her.

 

Melissa stared into the distance, blissfully unaware of Karie while sipping on her juice box.

 

Karie stopped, standing right beside her. "Oi, it's daytime and ya got to be alert kiddo." She interrupted her, giving her a little punch on the arm. It would probably get her attention, yeah probably, but it wouldn't hurt her.

Karie poked her. "You didn't come out of the water that until after I was gone, care to explain why?" she asked, well more like demanded.

 

'Quick girl, think of an excuse', she thought to herself, it didn't take long though, "I can't swim and I sunk to the bottom"

 

"Ah? I don't think I heard that quite right. You seemed pretty okay when ya got out of the water. In fact you looked a little happy, with Kevin." she said with a smirk and paused, " Plus, I saw you nice and dry when you got up. And just how is that?" she continued, obviously not settling with what she said.

 

"He gave me a new quilt", she lied, "It was a lot warmer so I dried faster"

 

Karie was about to grab her shirt by the collar but she remembered the counselors watching. she leaned down to her, looking as if she was whispering something to her ear, which she was. "You know you can't hide it forever, and I'll find out more about you soon, roomie." she said threateningly and emphasizes on the word 'roomie'. with that she leaned away and left, towards the counselors off to ask when the hike would start.

 

"Gives me more of an excuse to hide it", she muttered, surprised it came out.

 

Karie sighed and grabbed the trumpet, blowing hard on it. "We aren't going to wait for everyone! If you're left behind, well sucks for you!" she screamed, after getting everyone's attention. She sighed and returned the trumpet to the girl and walked back to where she was.
