Digital Art PE8 Help

Okay, so, I am not a noob at Photoshop, I have a lot of experience but I am in need of help. I was following a tut for a new sig style I wanted to try out yet I don't have the "Image > Apply Image" feature that it asks for. If you could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Edit: I have looked on the internet for some information, but there is nothing that helped me out.

 

I'm assuming "PE8" means "Photoshop Elements 8"...in which case, is sort of a completely different program than the CS (2,3,4).
I've never used Elements, so I can't really help you out there.

But a manual way to do Apply Image would be to make a copy of all the active layers you have now, and merge all of those.

 

Ya, it is Elements, I was going to buy CS4 but the store didn't have it...anyways, I tried the merge layers trick and it worked! Thanks DP, that is all I needed, you can close this thread now!
