So as a lot of you know. I am from UKania... Britain in more simple terms.

Now... with some inspiration from the wonderful Saxima. I decided to try something I'd been interested in for years but never actually had gotten around to. (You've likely guessed from the title though)

...A Peanut Butter and Jelly Sammich. O_O

I have had my first bite (a few minutes ago - with much anticipation from Saxima on Skype who was wondering how I'd react)... and I must say..It is an interesting flavour. It's good. Will take some getting used to, but very good. I never thought such a blend of flavours would go together, but it really does. In a weird way, but yeah.

So thank you Saxima. That is one thing I can tick off my list, and heck... if I ever fancy a snack, it's a new thing I know I actually wouldn't mind to eat.

    And well done, America. XD
    It tastes yummy.

You've never had a peanut butter and jelly or jam sandwich?

    What is wrong with you!?

He lives in the UK, it's not a thing there. He kinda implies so in his post.

    What is wrong with YOU!?

Maybe he doesn't like jelly/jam and/or peanut butter and so assumed that combining the two would also be undesirable.

Eat it about 1000 more times and it will taste just as bland to you as it does to all of us Americans.

I don't think it tastes bland. I think it tastes awful

    Having an opinion isn't incorrect.

Very interesting. While I am very used to Peanut butter and Jelly, I have now become a bit accustomed to putting in Nutella instead of peanut butter.

I'm curious though, why flavor of jelly did you go with?

Hero pretty much explains it perfectly below:

    ^This.

While that is a good guess, I actually love both Jam and Peanut Butter seperately.
I just... yeah. Never got around to combining the two until now. I'd heard about the concept years and years ago, and I was intrigued a bit since I thought it was an odd combination. But yeah, I never actually got around to trying it until today.
We had Raspberry and Apricot in the fridge. I went with Raspberry.
I'd much rather have gone for Strawberry, but we didn't have that and I figure Raspberry (jam/jelly at least) isn't that different.

Ahh, I see. My family just goes with grape jelly, which is pretty much the "default" jelly for the sandwich here in the States.

Nope. I am correct. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches taste awful. That is an absolute fact that has been proven by science.

Prove it. Make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that is not disgusting and bring it to me so that I can taste it. If I like it, then you are right. After all, my opinion is absolutely always correct and that means that anybody who defies it is completely wrong.
