A couple hours ago, I was browsing through different channels, and decided to give the show "Pawn Stars" a try (even though I despise the History Channel). And now I'm hooked. After watching some episodes, I feel like going to a local pawn shop and checking out some of the stuff they're selling.
I am a history buff so I absolutely love this show. It is comedic and informational. Suits me perfectly.
They're *******s who try to scam sellers out of more than they deserve to receive. And I actually happen to be related to them by marriage. Oh boy, oh boy.
You and my dad would just get along. He hates them too. Not a segment goes by where he complains loudly something like "Worth $50,000? We'll buy it from you for $5!" I just find it funny to watch sometimes.
I really feel bad for Rick right now. I just watched an episode where he bought a book for a couple thousand dollars when it was really worth at most $50. Bummer
