So apparently just an hour ago Paul Walker ended up getting into an accident hitting a tree and the car exploding. There's not much out right now, all of the news says the same thing. Here's something from one of the sites.

There's also a picture of the accident.

I don't know what you guys thought of him, but I thought he had a great acting carrier, and I loved most of the movies he was in. Now he's dead? I feel like I need to watch all of his good movies over just to remember him. Man, this is really going to mess up the shooting for the next Fast and Furious movie as well. But that's the least problematic thing right now. Man, life really sucks; I thought he was really awesome.

That's what I'm saying dude he drove my Favorite car of all time. The Nissan Skyline R34 GTR Inline 6 Japan's finest monster of a sports car, repped Imports, and had a taste for American Muscle and I hate American cars. To think in the movie someone dies like that and he ends up dying in a fiery explosion in a Porsche mind you just like Ryan Dunn. Not liking Porsche's anymore and they used to be my favorite cars too :/

I think any movie actor should never die from such a horrific accident. What makes this worse is that it sadly fits the irony of his death. He was a great actor and I really wished I could've seen him in future titles. He died way too young for his age.

RIP Paul Walker. Stay Fast and Furious in our hearts

It is ironic, especially since apparently they quoted him saying that if he were to die he'd like it to be in a fast car. This is what I mean by it being weird once all the stars of this generation are gone. There's already 1 leaving, and it feels like there's a hole in the world.

It looks like the team of Fast Seven weren't told because they were off on Holiday, but I'm sure they saw it on the news. Apparently Paul Walker only got half-way through the filming of Fast Seven, so they plan to do a tribute to him in the film.

Well judging from the news and twitter they all know. I just read that his latest film ill be released December 13 and there's also another one he completed. If the production of FF7 was nearly completion then his loss won't cause the film much of a problem, though that is of minor importance right now.

Awfully sad to hear this. I was a big fan of the Fast & Furious franchise as a kid. Terrible to see someone go so young.

I heard about this earlier today. I've never seen any of the Fast and Furious movies, but this is really saddening. It's always hard to hear about these sort of tragedies, and my heart goes out to all the affected families.

Have they determined what caused him to lose control yet? Was it alcohol, drugs or a medical condition?

Just the fact that they were speeding. Also burned rubber and doughnut marks were found on the road near the accident, so yeah... I think it was just an unfortunate case of he and his friend eagerly taking turns to fool around in his flashy new car. Considering how powerful it is and the speeds it can reach, you can imagine why it'd be easy to lose control.

I heard about this on the news, and what terrible news it was. While I didn't particularly enjoy many of the fast and the furious movies, I did quite like the role that Paul Walker played in them. I hope (despite how unlikely it is) that this will help the message along that people need to be more careful when driving.

Well, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't get in a crash if he was driving, since he does his own stunts in the films and knows how to work with cars; but the one who was actually driving was the other guy, and it might just be that he ended up doing something stupid.

I know, but you've got to remember that's on a movie set. While he may have done his own stunts, they would've had the proper safety and precautionary measures like having roll cages installed in the cars, etc. Anyone acting reckless behind the wheel can cause an accident or fatality.

It doesn't matter if he does his own stunts in the films and knows how to work with cars, the fact is that most car accidents are just that; accidents. Accidents happen, they're unintentional because they're accidental, even the best drivers can get into car crashes.

I'm not sure why you'd have a roll cage in a Porsche unless it were a track car, but the fact the dude was speeding and testing out the car is the problem. Why didn't the person knowing they might not have been able to handle the car itself continue speeding, and if it did swerve from the way the track marks show then the brakes, ABS we not working properly. Porsche is known to have great breaking, then again if you aren't capable of driving fast then brakes mean nothing in the end. Its horrible, but it goes to show what happens when you speed.

My point being, is that at least Paul Walker would have known what to do if something went wrong, even if he might not have been able to get out of it unscathed. Instead you have a guy behind a wheel who might or might not know how to drive a car fast, but from this event, it certainly looks like he didn't know how to drive a car fast

Edit: So last night on Monday, Vin Diesel used a public address system in the sheriff's car to talk to all of the people that were at the memorial site. You can find a video of it anywhere, but it's something you guys should see.
