:D I just wonder sometimes whether maybe there is a bigger process than just this one life and the afterlife, maybe there is something we all need to fulfill before we can completely pass on, something we have to achieve, some people do claim to have memories and such of former lives but I agree in that I don't want to lose the memories I have! :D maybe (if they do exist) they influence us more than we realise, how do we know that who we are isn't in some way shaped by our past life experiences?

    :D :D

I have thought about that, and it sort of does make sense. Perhaps we go through as many reincarnations as we need to until we became pure of heart or "ready" to pass over to the next life. Perhaps, if we do bad in this life, we are reborn again and given a second chance to correct our mistakes, and thus repeating the process until our mistakes are fixed.

I've had that feeling a-many times. Though I don't feel like I used to live before my life.

I would love to believe I had a previous life and I could go on after this one, but I don't think that's what happens.

How can you explain that feeling though? It confuses me when it happens lol! IDK Maybe its just another way for the human race to create their own imortality (spelling?) a way to make life not seem so brief and death not seem so final? :)

But then couldn't someone just say the same thing about religious experiences?

I live by this theory. Well at least I like to think I do. Ok it just sounds cool and makes for an interesting discussion point. Anyway................

Nothing is impossible. Some things infinitely improbable.

In conclusion: Do I think so? No. Is it possible? I don't see why not.

Yes, they could. You asked for -another- explanation, I complied. Didn't say it was the right or only one.

I'm like that with computers. but i don't think my past life used them.

actually if you get into the life on other planets bit i guess it could still be possable. also a good explination on why i've taken like 5 keyboarding classes and still suck at it.

Yes actually! :D thats what I mean with the whole idea that past lives (if they are true) may influence or shape us more than we realise!

Maybe not computers but maybe they were good with technology? :D lol

It's an odd thing to think about. We always want to learn more about ourselves and knowing that there is potentially something we don't understand; we get frustrated by it...or sometimes fear it.

It depends on what you believe in. For some it might be blasphemous to imagine that a soul could be 'recycled' if you will. For others it might be as common thinking as subconciously as blinking. You don't conciously make an effort to blink or breath. It's an essential thing your body tells you to do.

As for my 'powers' being 'taught' to me, I don't think there were. I don't consider it a 'power' to be able to see/hear/feel spirits. They do appear as solidly, or nearly, as you or I do, least how I see them. Course some of them I'd rather not come across, the red tinted ones are ones Id like to stay FAR away from. They're nasty to deal with.

But back on topic, I do believe in past lives and while I've never gotten a professional reading, I have been told on several occasions that my 'soul is very aged and ancient.'

I live in a very christian environment so nobody really talks about this. But if this theory is true, I'm guessing my soul has been in a few wars. this is because of two reasons. One, as a kid i used to love getting "sword fights" and i was strangly good at them (I still have day dreams of stuff like that too, I just don't act them out anymore). Two, I seem to take injuries (phisical and emotional) strangly well.

Yeah my main person has gone away! Ah well hey I'll fight you if I ever meet you which I probably wont but if I do then we can have a proper sword fight! *realises she just major rambled* Idk it's one of those things that ever since the first time it just felt right, Like EvilMan_89 said as though it was already there!
