Here is my newest layout, though it's just the templet.

I actually really really like the lights of the city combinded with the dark red. Very nice job. 10/10.

It's pretty simple making a Myspace layout, but GJ ^_^

It would have been better if the background had some horizontal lines, in a lighter color, with lowered opacity. I use GIMP as well. For the layout, isn't it possible to move the two lower boxes away from each other a bit? And it looks a bit empty, I can't tell where, but it's missing something.

The base picture you used is wonderful. I really wish I knew how to make Myspace layouts.
But the background part, the plain part, seems a bit too plain. Maybe it's just me.
But I say 9.5/10.
