okay. I was watching CNN with my brother. And there was a huge discussion about PARIS HILTON! Isn't that wrong? They were talking about how she went to jail and stuff like that. Why would a news channel, that talks about war in IRAQ, talk about PARIS HILTON? That really ticked me off. Because, they should leave that to the TABLOIDS. Or MTV.

Don't you think thats wrong? Or?

 

I agree with you 100%, I get mad when I'm watching the news and then we see some story about popstar drama. Not only that, but who cares about the untalented, anorexic, b****. Personally I think she should be put in jail for life.

What really gets me ticked on this whole thing is she's getting PAID, in a sense REWARDED, for spending time in jail. CNN and these other networks are PAYING Paris Hilton to talk about her 'ordeal' in jail.

It's honestly sickening the amount of attention she receives from the media.

And now there's a good chance she wants to make a movie out of this whole thing to make more money.

 

they gave her specail treatment in jail, they wouldnt put her with the regular ppl because shes a rich bi+ch. and she still complains! if they put her with the regular criminals she would have been shanked within the 1st hour

And in the time she spends in jail, she has a TV, and telephone, she can have vistors, she has a whole bunch of free times, it makes me want to kill her 0.0

i think it is ok to have a showbiz section in the news... but a disscussion on paris hiltons sentence.... WTF? its no new news. it was ok to annouce the arrest, then how she got taken out of house arrest... but i mean, come on!

News channels really don't care about what's important now, at least thats what I think. It's all about ratings, and getting people to watch. They run stories like this because its somehow interesting? It's also about funding. I guess whoever gives them money wants people to know about Paris Hilton.

 

Paris Hilton sucks. However, the woman brings attention to herself. It seems that people use her as a 'role-model' and somehow she believes she is a hard worker and a good role-model for young women. This I find laughable but what are you going to do when people find crazes and she's kind of like the naughty dirty rich princess with a hook nose that parties all the time and drives drunk on a suspended license but cries being arrested and going to jail is unfair...I digress. She draws in media and news will cover her because she does. People either love or hate Paris but no one is seemingly allowed to ignore her existence. She'll get paid because of it and we'll have to watch her because she's as famous as she is infamous and the tv news casters figure they get more viewers by putting her on there. We just have to wait it out until she's uglier and unpopular and there's some new fad girl that takes her place.

i get mad that it got on the news too. but that's not the i'm mad. i'm mad because it took that long for her to get in jail. and what's worse, she used a sob story to get her time down. if it were me i'd go "that's a sweet story, but now your getting extended a mounth".
