    Look, throughout the entire game, we don't hear Sora getting worried about his parents or anything like that, he just wants to find his friends. Regardless, we know they're there somewhere, but if they really don't play that big of a part, then why worry about them?

    Who knows, maybe they'll show up later.

    It would semi-ruin the story if the whole entire time Sora was just like "MOMMY I MISS U"

    That is the ONLY flaw in the game, to me anyways XD
    Most adventure the hero has no family, even if a kid. Parents just hold them back and bring in sappiness.
